Music is excellent but the vocals hmmmm. Encouraged me to d/l Of Malice and the Magnum Heart

the vocals on that album are great imo

What is All That Remains categorized as? Phil said they were definately metalcore, but they don't sound like any metalcore I've heard...

All That Remains are metalcore, I'm pretty sure lots of metalcore uses the scream/sing thing like ATR.

Yea Phil has good and accessible vocals

I have met Phil and Oli. Phil is short, about 5'4'' or so. I was surprised.

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree. Still Remains' album is pretty good, especially the song White Walls.

But honestly, Kingston Falls? I have that album and I saw them live, and they aren't underrated. They are alright, but there are so many better bands. Meh...

White Walls is one of SR's weaker tracks easily imo. So many better ones...

I saw KF headline for a crowd of about a dozen people, with their old (i.e. good) vocalist and they owned. He's easily one of the best and refreshing compared to most (who have a generic metalcore growl). Their new album/new vocalist is terrible. I just don't understand, how are they [I]not [/I]underrated? I don't think anyone has talked about them here, and they don't even have a band page on this site :confused: CoS is a pretty catchy and solid album.

Still Remains - Of Love and Lunacy was decent. I thought they had potential, but the new album went in a direction that i'm not as into. It's very pop metal.

Shai Hulud are so boring. Boring riffs, boring vocals...I still don't get the big deal with them.

Listening to Misery Signals last night mad me go listen to Jhazmyne's Lullaby when I came in from college.

Ive been reminded all over again why I love this band and how even though I think Misery Signals are pretty decent now they won't be able to match 7A7P

Obviously...

I still like MS more than 7A7P.

I like Misery Signals' style more, but it seems like 7A7P will always be better in the way of talent.

They're not bad. Metalcore with some southern riffs thrown in. I really like them. Then again, I'm sure lots of people don't give them a chance just because they are on Rise.
