Qustion What doe the b in the tabs stand for. My bands is learning californatcation(sp) be the Chilli peppers.

Juicy_Forlorn 09-21-2005 06:38 PM

If the b is on a cymbal line, it will stand for bell probably, but if it is on a drum line it probably means buzz stroke.

[/QUOTE]

i got one for 20$!

[EDIT]

TRIPPLE POST WOOOO

Jomofo 09-21-2005 08:19 PM

^Oh yeah, TGP, that 18 is magnificent. I'm not usually one for really cutting cymbals, but fell in love. I paid 200 for mine :P. I'm one of the people that doesn't really get the deals.

poppinfresh 09-21-2005 08:22 PM

****t that wheel didnt even budge, Its a good thing they didnt cut corners on the construction on that. It was pretty amazing watching that.

poppinfresh 09-21-2005 08:26 PM

oh obscurity really nice job. The singing had some good ideas there, some great ideas, but it just didnt work for like half of the parts IMO.

i agree. i was working on some new material on guitar for a band i want to start up, and their sound is like the exact sound i was going for. that with a bit of post-hardcore, maybe a little bit of metalcore too. i think i'll ask my friend who got me into them to play guitar in the band if i actually get around to starting it, since he plays guitar. but then again, who doesn't play guitar nowadays?

poppinfresh 09-21-2005 08:54 PM

are you going to post hardcore dance too?

Hammerheart 09-21-2005 09:04 PM

How in gods name would TMV work with Metalcore? lol.

Win A Rabbit 09-21-2005 09:05 PM

no need to worry, poppin. i'm no dancer. and the metalcore, it would just be guitar-influenced, definately no metalcore vocals.

oh, i got my rant on feminists back today. i got 85% on it (along with a cinnamon scratch n sniff sticker, yum) my teacher had a 5 minute talk with me about my language usage, and though i generally use them to add to my writing, i should refrain from using certain words. so i kicked her in the face. nah i just told her that i see nothing wrong with a word, as long as it's used correctly. she said my essays gave her some good laughs, but she wouldn't want the principal to look over the things she's marked and see my papers. i'll post it up tomorrow, since i left early today and didn't go to my locker to get my binder.

Plan B. 09-21-2005 09:08 PM

rockindrummer 09-21-2005 09:23 PM

Today was awsome for me, no school due to a pro d day. I also got back home from my day out to find a box waiting for me. My 17" 2oo2 crash arrived, the day after it was sent. I opened that box nice and quickly then slowly moved the packing around to get to the cymbal. What an awsome cymbal, I absolutly love this thing. I was only able to hit it a couple times as it was to late to play drums when I got home. This totaly made my day, and to whoever said that they love getting big things in the mail ahmen to that, it is such an awsome feeling opening that big box.

Double Bass Jim 09-21-2005 09:27 PM

Awesome man, 17" 2002 = big :thumb:

Plan B. 09-21-2005 09:28 PM

Hey rockindrummer does it have like really thin lathing? It's hard to explain, like the Full Crash (2002) I played the other day had this intense skinny, texturized lathing on it. Can you take a picture?
