cbmartinez 03-01-2005 06:11 PM

Yeah, I listened to their purevolume stuff yesterday, it was pretty awesome. Reiner, did you see that show I posted at Hamilton Street?

Great band.
Yeah, I listened to their purevolume stuff yesterday, it was pretty awesome. Reiner, did you see that show I posted at Hamilton Street?
Yeah, I'm not a big Sworn Enemy fan. The only other band I've heard is Bill Killmen who are ridiculously repetative and generic.

cbmartinez 03-01-2005 07:36 PM

Ah, I didn't know if you like Sworn Enemy and Strength In Numbers sounded like one of the typical hardcore bands you kids talk about on here.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 03-01-2005 08:01 PM

"Play It Loud Fuckers" by Crime In Stereo sounds like a Turning Point song.

Also, Crime In Stereo are awesome.

cbmartinez 03-01-2005 08:04 PM

Anyone like F-Minus? Are they considered hardcore?

A-Life-Less-Plagued 03-01-2005 08:11 PM

YES THEY ARE

NO I DON'T LIKE THEM

SOULSEEK IS FUCKING GAY.

SET THE STAGE, THE AMBUSH BEGINS!

cbmartinez 03-02-2005 03:35 PM

Trustkill signed a new band, Fight Paris. I guess their a bit generic but I'm really digging them. They sound a cross between Every Time I Die and Norma Jean (ironically, they're from Atlanta), though definitely not as heavy as NJ. Check them out at http://www.purevolume.com/fightparis.

I just discovered this sub-forum. I'll have to stop by more often.

This sounds really good. I think they're pretty horny though.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 03-02-2005 03:41 PM

Now that I think of it, they sound like a cross between Every Time I Die and Limp Bizkit. But surprisingly they do a good job at it.
