This is copied straight from a book, aimed at teenagers.

A squatter is somone who enters and occupies land, or any part of a building without the owners permission. SQUATTING IS NOT A CRIME, but squatters may commit an offence if they cause damage when getting into the property or to the contents, or by using gas or electricity without first making the proper arrangements.
If squatters leave a place empty, the owner can break in and take possession, but commits an offence if force is used while the squatters are still inside. An owner or tenant who intends to move in imediately and use the property as a place of residence, may use reasonable force to get the squatter to leave, but normally requires a written statement or certificate showing that the property is needed as a home. In this situation the squaater commits an offence by refusing to leave.
Squaters can also be evicted from a property through the issue of a possession orderby a court. There are a number of different types of order but, in some circumstances , squatters may have 24 hours to leave and may not return to the property within the next 12 months.
This is up to date.
Nice. Thanks man. I think I'll squatt more often now

clustifux 02-05-2006 06:15 PM

Buzzbomb 02-05-2006 06:22 PM

Does that have the LOC song Look who's talking now?

I Am A Jerk 02-05-2006 10:14 PM

I'm new, didn't bother reading the other 36 pages because this band is ****. Bassicly I like to sit around and insult bands that I don't like on Internet Forums. Greetings.

DaveToopes 02-05-2006 10:46 PM

I would like to say a few things abuot you, Jerk:

1. I like your honesty, and while we're talking about LoC, I agree - I think they're very mediocre and overrated.
2. Your punctuation is nice, you don't type like a moron.
3. WELCOME!!

clustifux 02-06-2006 12:50 AM
okay ive been here for a 130 posts now....what hte hell does blank post mean?
Means you agree with the quoted post, but since you can't post blank anymore, people write blank post or 123.

Yeah, thanks for the welcome. I'm not into the whole "OmgZ0rz Eye'M a Fayg" type spelling thing. But I guess literacy became un-cool over night:rolleyes: you won't hear any of that junk coming from me inless i'm telling someone that they're an idiot, which wont happen too much I hope. I'm not interested in being told that I don't have as many posts as someone so therefore my opinion is not as valid as theres is. so yeah, hey, haha.

You could.

Postcount ? important, not to me at least.

I like you, good sir/missus (???). Stick around.

i_am_zombie_jesus 02-06-2006 06:20 PM

My friend gave me a signed LOC patch the other day.

Its signed by Brandon (R.I.P)

I love it.

haha thanks, and just so I don't keep you wondering, I am a good sir, not a miss. :) As long as people frequently post, I should stick around. That's my problem with other message boards, people tend to stop posting and I get too impatient. So hopefully I'll be around for a while :chug:

AIRIC 02-06-2006 08:33 PM

This is probably the biggest music forum on the web, you gotta be QUICK.

Nerdcore753 02-06-2006 08:42 PM

It dies down at certain times of the day, though. Like around 8 pm (west coast time) on weekdays.

burn_it 02-07-2006 02:13 PM

diversification is key

I always hear a whole lot about LoC (big fan by the way) but Ive never really met someone who cares about other CRS7 bands like INDK. INDK is easily my favorite band. All the people saying they like CV better should check these guys out. They kept most of the ska sound from CV but the vocals are a bit different. Its a bit more melodic, but its just as cracked as ever. Im also getting ****ing pissed cuz I cant find any morning glory songs or cds. What the hell is wrong with people these days? No one recognizes good music anymore. All I have to say is **** yea for subhumans, born/dead, and world/inferno friendship society coming to portland march 27th. What a ****ing line-up!

Liebensaft 02-07-2006 05:00 PM

Try Soulseek for Morning Glory. All of us have it. Room is Allthehubub.

<---NoFX---> 02-07-2006 05:23 PM

I like INDK alot, I wouldn't go as far to say they were the best CRS7 band but thats just my opinion. American Distress (Skwert plays drums) are pretty good too, I ordered their album the other day, still havn't got it yet.

Brain Toad 02-07-2006 05:39 PM
Try Soulseek for Morning Glory. All of us have it. Room is Allthehubub.
You're going to create a whole new room giving that name out. SLSK is case sensative.

And I still think INDK was the worst effort from the CRS7 gang. They just seem very boring and mediocre.

Liebensaft 02-07-2006 06:07 PM

Oh, whoops. allthehubub. No capital letters. No spaces. No nothing. Not even people. No music. No illegal downloading. Shhhhhh.

clustifux 02-07-2006 11:01 PM

whats up with american distress and Stockyard Stoics? I like them a lot, as i love all the crack rock bands...But what do al you think of em?

<---NoFX---> 02-08-2006 03:38 AM

I've never listened to Morning Glory, I am a bad, bad man

AIRIC 02-08-2006 09:37 AM

Meh, not really. Even MG gets boring.

Brain Toad 02-08-2006 10:40 AM
Meh, not really. Even MG gets boring.
Truth. All the bands have a limited amount of listenability in them.

Fritz Plays Bass 02-08-2006 10:50 AM

I'd say Morning Glory is one of the more interesting CRS bands, at least in some of the songs they have good guitar parts and pretty decent quality recording, it makes a nice listen. Divide By, Tolerate, and Extraordinary for instance. I prefer LoC, but that's for more sentimental reasons.

_JR 02-09-2006 04:13 PM

all the CRS7 bands seem to come and go to me in waves. like ill listen for awhile, then stop for awhile. then sometime down the road ill come back and think theyre great for awhile. over and over etc

Buzzbomb 02-09-2006 09:40 PM

I usually do not get bored of Leftover Crack or Choking Victim. I never did care for INDK, and I usualy listen to Morning Glory a little bit less then LoC/CV

POINTLESS5448 02-10-2006 10:34 AM

i get bored of leftover crack sometimes but i listen to it alot. when i get tired of leftover crack i just put on some choking victim. i like morning glory because they have that one song with those rappers in it so i listen to them sometimes if if feelin gangsta.

time bomb 02-25-2006 05:14 AM

Sorry for the bump, but i've only just heard leftover crack and choking victim recently when i bought give em the boot's I-IV. I really like the Choking victim songs on them (Infested and Crack Rock Steady), especially Crack Rock Steady, and i was wondering if all of their songs sound similar to these ones, or whether they just put those songs on compilations because they are the most first-time-listenable songs (if you know what i mean). And, if i like these songs, which album would you think i would like best?

albert_bass 02-25-2006 05:22 AM

You won't find another song like Crack Rock Steady in any album, but it's easy to recommend albums as Choking Victim only have No Gods/No Managers and Leftover Crack have both Mediocre Generica and F'uck World Trade. The first is rougher, and the vocals are more listenable than the second but personally I preffer FWT. The music in there is awesome.

Thanks man, ill probably go for mediocre generica though, because i really dont tend to go for harsh vocals. What would you describe No Gods/No Managers as being like? And are the two bands pretty indestinguishable by sound?

albert_bass 02-25-2006 05:33 AM

Both albums have harsh vocals, in fact, all crack rock steady bands have harsh vocals. The only song without them might be Crack Rock Steady.

I didn't like the vocals at first but the music is so good that they grew on me. And about the sound. Choking Victim are more on the ska-punk side and LoC are on the ska-hardcore side, but both bands are a great mix of ska punk and hardcore.

I didnt mind Infested and Athiest Anthem, so i guess the vocals dont grate on me too bad, I do really like the music though, because both bands seem to play with heaps of energy, but then have the funky ska bits too, i guess ill just have to check it ALL out more, lol. Cheers mate :thumb:

albert_bass 02-25-2006 08:11 AM

That's right you should check it all out. After all it's just 3 albums.

And I recommend you to check the only Morning Glory album: This is no time ta sleep. Awesomeness.

Flagjacket 02-25-2006 09:47 AM

The CRS7/F Minus split is really good. I like this version of So You Wanna Be A Cop better than the Morning Glory one.
