Good stuff. :thumb:

Subvert_bassist 11-13-2005 07:07 PM

Technically, no, no drugs or drinking, but you can get away with it. BORN/DEAD was great; Regulations were really good live, but are really wierd Swedish guys. They told me I was saying Skitsystem wrong but didn't tell me the right way. Requiem, Greyskull and Bafabegiya were damn good too.

Scabies 11-14-2005 04:23 PM

Does everyone here know that Mob 47 have reformed? Or is this old news?

http://www.mob47.se/

Subvert_bassist 11-14-2005 04:55 PM

I didn't know. Saweet.

Scabies 11-15-2005 03:44 PM

I just met a girl who actual knows more about powerviolence and screamo than me. hot too. bing bing

RetiredAt21 11-16-2005 01:08 AM

That is freaking awesome. I'd be all over that chick.

Subvert_bassist 11-16-2005 09:15 AM
So, RAMBO anyone?
Heard a few songs, and liked them. Im pretty sure J loves them. Album recommendations?

RetiredAt21 11-16-2005 12:50 PM

I love RAMBO. Such a fantastic band. Niko got me hooked on them.

Subvert_bassist 11-16-2005 02:59 PM

Album recommendations. Well. I think they only have two, so I'll say them:

"Bring It!"

and

"Wall of Death the System"

Here's some tracks:

NewKindofArmy03 11-16-2005 03:08 PM

They're the best band to see.
Im pretty sure J loves them.
Ye are correct sir.

R.A.M.B.O. rule soooo much! I <3 them. hahaha

Seriously, my Last.FM is bulging with my R.A.M.B.O. listens. Oh, and they also had a split with Caustic Christ out on Havoc Rex. Here's a link to the thread I had made while back: http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=373699

I had Bring It! YSI'd on there, but I'm sure the link doesn't work no more.

Hit me up on Soulseek, I have all three of their releases. :thumb:

Subvert_bassist 11-16-2005 07:46 PM

I just got slsk and I can see why y'all like it. I got the majority of "Bring It!"; I got a bunch of Tragedy (you can't find that **** anywhere) and His Hero Is Gone (that neither). Sick.

See the cops ahead; link arms!
March in unison; now charge!
Wall of death the system!
Moshtrocity!

NewKindofArmy03 11-16-2005 08:38 PM

I love that song.

Brain Toad 11-19-2005 04:09 PM

If I really wanted to get into and appreciate grindcore, what bands should I listen to? I feel I haven't really given the genre a really fair shot. I enjoy a couple grind and/or powerviolence bands like Swallowing ****, Charles Bronson and Cripple Bastards, but what else should I listen to?

Pig Destroyer, Napalm Death (up to Harmony Corruption), Agoraphobic Nosebleed, The Great Redneck Hope, early Carcass, and F'uck... I'm Dead. These should help you out early on.

Brain Toad 11-19-2005 04:39 PM

I've got a couple of those on my computer already, so I'll give a good listen. I enjoy Napalm Death I have (Scum and The Code is Dead.. Long Live the Code) and the Agoraphobic Nosebleed I have.

Thanks.

EDIT: I really like The Great Redneck Hope. I think I may start throwing some grindcore into my daily listening.

Gnarmageddon 11-19-2005 05:10 PM
