I've been listening to The Cure's Disintegration and Modest Mouse.

Tapeworm 09-24-2004 11:09 AM

Yeah, I got an email about the new APC album, and I was taken aback with disgust.

Man, I have been listening to The Moon And Antarctica non stop.
I downloaded the Head Automatica album, so I'm kinda digging that.

Also, I just heard A Perfect Circle's new cover of John Lennon's "Imagine" on the radio... can somebody please explain to me what the fuck is up with that?
They are recording a new album of covers of political songs. I, like most people, think it's going to be an absolute piece of crap.

Badmoon 09-24-2004 10:39 PM

I've really liked a few songs I've downloaded from Jesus Lizard.

Zappa 09-24-2004 10:46 PM

"Wrong" by Nomeansno made it onto my top 20 albums of all time this week.

Luxor 09-24-2004 10:51 PM

I'm kind of going backwards. I bought their new CD a while back when it came out, and I just recently downloaded Disintegration, it's pretty good.
tweaker-2a.m. wake up call
Yar, good album I liked the first one better though. Jennifer Charles and Will Oldham's tracks are nothing short of spasmorphtastic. :)

Seriously, fuck Nirvana, if you want angsty music then the Replacements own the world.
