trivium bore the **** out of me now, seems like all their songs sound the same
Don't listen to them then, there's no need to really post that in a Trivium thread.
Now go along and discuss! Just remember: No spamming and no excessive flaming of the band. This is a Trivium thread for Trivium fans. We don't care if you hate them.
TheSlayer 11-11-2005 11:10 AM

ok there was some chat in the A7X thread about Matt loosing his voice? Er explain.. (sry if u answred my question about it in A7X)

Shred Danson 11-11-2005 11:13 AM

Apparently he strains his vocals live...

TheSlayer 11-11-2005 11:26 AM

but he's not losing his voice? (like shadows)

Shred Danson 11-11-2005 11:30 AM

I do not know much about it, man, this is the frst time I've heard it, though it's been brought up in here before that he strains his vocals a lot live..

TheSlayer 11-11-2005 11:34 AM

Well they better be good live when I see them in March!

Britton 11-11-2005 02:16 PM
but he's not losing his voice? (like shadows)
Do you know anything about singing?

cacophonyz 11-11-2005 02:40 PM

I hate 17+ shows.Gonna miss the Trivium,Cob, and Amarth show.I heard though that early next year Triviums going on tour again with In Flames.

The way he strains his voice live and on the records, he will probably screw his vocals over in a few years unless he gets some sort of vocal lessons.

After the first few songs live, he can't sing the choruses to the songs any more and he just kinda yells them. That right there shows that he is not screaming properly, and his voice will be shot in no time.

Britton 11-11-2005 03:53 PM

Wait! is this tour 17+?

Joe 11-11-2005 04:14 PM

Not the whole tour, it depends on the venue. I'm seeing it at a place where I can. I'm 16

Britton 11-11-2005 04:14 PM

So am I. bt the place I want to see them is ruff at times

I hope I can go

Joe 11-11-2005 04:15 PM

The place I'm seeing them is downtown D.C. so yea...

It'll be ok though. It's not a bad neighborhood but it's a club so you never know.

Britton 11-11-2005 04:16 PM

This place is called "The White Rabbit" it's pretty darn ruff down there.

I think I know a guy who can get me backstage though!

That would be awesome. One of my best friends is great friends with the manager of the 9:30 Club so I might be able to get backstage too. That would be awesome, even though I'd be a little creeped out... the guys are pretty weird.

Britton 11-11-2005 04:22 PM

Not really

Joe 11-11-2005 04:23 PM
Not really
I hear the Trivium guys encourage violence at their shows. That's a little creepy. Although, it would be really awesome to go backstage. Not as many groupies as a Fall Out Boy concert or something... (that's ok, the music is so much worse at FOB)

Britton 11-11-2005 04:28 PM

I know they like circle pits

chorbalan 11-11-2005 04:34 PM
did anyone of you americans see Trivium on their tour with COB?
I am on the 22nd along with amon amarth

Joe 11-11-2005 04:35 PM

Yea I am too on Dec 8 w/ AA

Britton 11-11-2005 04:35 PM

I hope I can get in

it should be okay

nowitzki 11-11-2005 04:36 PM

Enourage violence? What are you talking about?
I've seen them twice, and they get the crowd moshing, but that happens at most metal gigs.

Britton 11-11-2005 04:37 PM

Moshin is part of the scene

Speaking of not getting to do stuff...last night I was at this party and they took
my wrist and marked them with big x's so I couldn't drink...how gay is that?

Joe 11-11-2005 04:38 PM

It's just what I've heard. I haven't seen them live

Britton 11-11-2005 04:39 PM

I have a cool video...it's ruff but not violent

nowitzki 11-11-2005 04:50 PM

I have a video of Trivum at the metal Hammer awards, the pit is awesome.
The only time pits ever seem to get violent is if theres hardcore dancers about. Man I hate those guys

Britton 11-11-2005 04:51 PM

LoL

I can't wait

how many times m I gonna say that?

TrIvIuM_FrEaK189 11-11-2005 05:55 PM
