i'm sorry, i didn't know grammar was important on an internet forum. or do you just care so much about grammar too? or is it just that you like to act like you are better than everybody? and just because you care about something doesn't mean you have to be elitist about it. of all the bands i have been fortunate enough to meet, including a couple in this thread, none have ever acted anything like that about music. they all seem to think that taking genres so seriously is pointless; they just want people to get something out of their music. but i guess you must care more about music than them, since you care so much that you have to be an elitist. the only people that i know in real life that act like that are people that like to pretend they are above other people.

Yes I agree. The individual songs from [I]The Satellite Years[/I] are insane, but the flow and how they all sound very samey stops me from giving it a perfect score. They should have taken the two instrumentals off too.

After reading this thread, I listened to the satellite years, and I'm hooked to it, after not listening to it in weeks. I think I might have too many cd's for my own good.

My favorite songs in order. "The Bending" is incredible. The thing I love about [I]The Satellite Years[/I] (that I miss on [I]A Types[/I]) is those long spacy parts where they get a really neat dual guitar/bass combination going.

Yeah, I can remember two spacy parts. One with some spacy tremolo (I'm assuming "The Ones") and the other being the final moments of the CD. I think "Per Sempre" is a really spectacular album ender.

i like all their songs so much, i can't choose favorites, at least not off that cd. but i can say that the bending is amazing live. definitely my favorite live song i've seen them do.

The only Cd they have ever released is their discography if I'm not mistaken. It contains all the songs they've ever released on tape/vinyl/splits etc. and a few live songs. I've been thinking about getting this album too, as it's very cheap for the 70 minutes of music you get for it. :)
