Oh, and what's a good first Air cd? Moon Safari?

I've been listening to Mum. They're a cool "chill music" band from Iceland. It's has a lot of electronic instruments and other things. You should check them out if you haven't.

Tapeworm 08-28-2004 11:40 AM

I've actually been listening to Coheed a lot lately, along with the second disc of Sketches for my Sweetheart the Drunk.
Oh, and what's a good first Air cd? Moon Safari?
that's just a great cd in general, but also get Talkie Walkie and if you want something a bit more edgy and experimental get 10000Mhz Legend, its takes some getting used to but its well worht it...

The Ashtray Girl 08-28-2004 02:33 PM

Yes, Moon Safari is a great album, definitely worth getting.

br3ad_man 08-28-2004 05:08 PM

I keep putting off getting into Coheed and Cambria. I think I'll do it today.

I just recently got Soulseek so I've been on a download frenzy:

Interpol - Antics
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It In People
Slint - Spiderland

Good work! What's your Slsk username? I've got heaps of stuff that you might like :)

Happymeal 08-29-2004 07:48 AM

I'm gonna get Slsk later too. Hehe(<--nOOb). Co&Ca in Alt/Indie?

Dancin' Man 08-29-2004 09:57 AM

I like Limewire better than slsk. Downloads seem faster and it's a bit more organzied. On slsk though, you do have the buddy list and the chats which can make it easier to find some things.

StreetlightRock 08-29-2004 09:58 AM

Anything by Slash's Snakepit... amazing stuff

DVG.

what I have been digging lately

At the moment I really love listening to a band from belgium called dEUS. It's a pop-rock (psichadellyca) band. Maybe you know them if you live in europe you. And if you're living in Belgium and you don't know them, maybe the name Tom Barman ring's a bell. But anyway I really love the song roses, it's maybe the best song I heard so......check it out.

have fun...

Tapeworm 08-30-2004 06:07 AM

I is been kickin it with the two Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds albums I got from the library today. I managed to get "Nocturama" and "The Boatman's Call". They are both absolutely brilliant.

I also bought SFK's "The Official Fiction" today, after hiring it outloads of times.

Happymeal 08-30-2004 09:11 AM

I really like Braid's "Consolation Prizefighter". It's the first I heard from them, they're really something.. Pretty Girls Make Graves' "All Medicated Geniuses" got me hooked too.
