...I saw my dad play Legos : star wars 2 days ago. The man hadnt help an X box controller EVER, and he got suckered into playing with my 4 year old nephew. He got frustrated and quit because he kept putting his light saber away and getting killed |
The thing that turned me off of proximity mines is that as soon as my friends and I figured out that you were able to make the mines stick to the character so they'd blow up in three seconds or so.
I remember a time we were in the Aztec level (the one with the hole in the middle of the floor with the eight doors - the first one. I forget the name of it), and there were proxy mines all over the floor from people trying to throw them on each other. So, I went up top and threw the mines down below, setting them off. It was a fun little chain reaction.
Such a childish perception.
Hey, fuck you. I know my theology just fine, thanks. I just watered it down so that people would know what I was talking about, because everyone and their mother who posts here has no opinion on the matter. |

blowing em up in mid air is devastating nice AV Jom :thumb: |

Hahaha, chalk it up as another case of people not being able to tell my tone of voice on the Internet. There're only a couple people who can correctly do it, so don't feel too bad. |

Informal dialogue, my dear Watson.
I only have one class on Thursdays, but it's downtown and the bus ride round-trip takes 45 minutes or so :upset: But, it's incredibly mild outside. 48 degrees and sunny? Oh, hell, yes! |
Yes, the weather this week has been quite nice in PA too, though I'm incredibly sick and haven't been out of the house for more than 15 mins at a time the past 3 days.
NP: Underoath - Heart of Stone.... God, good prog metal is amazing, especially when the bands mix death metal, thrash, black metal, and hardcore (<3 old Underoath) |

Is it as warm as it looks? |
Yeah, and I'm stuck inside editing all day. I need to head down to the computer lab to dump last night's shooting soon instead of running some Parkour.
Is it as warm as it looks?
Same here but basically once you are out of high school body has pretty much developed a strong immune system.
|
I've never really get sick too much. I generally get perfect attendance, but I was absent one day this year. :*( I haven't vomited in a considerable amount of time though.

And stoic, I wouldn't say Akercocke bring metal to another level, although they do fucking rip.
\m/ I mostly say this because I consider this kind of playing and perception of music (=insane mix of all the existent genres, tastefully done without missing the sense of melody and heaviness) to be the latest evolution of the term progressive. Bands that do this (like Nevermore, Solefald, Into Eternity, Akercocke etc) are the finest examples of new metal and the future of metal will be based on them in my opinion. |

They're only part of the evolution. I can't wait for the new Into Eternity. |
Which album are you listening?
NP Marvin Gaye \m/
Their new one, Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone. I blame myself for having such a bad first impression about them... And by the way, do you remember a review you had written on Scream Bloody Gore? It seems that it hasnt been moved to Sputnik for some reason. Would it be possible to submit it again? Without doubt, I remember it was one of the best reviews I've ever read!
They're only part of the evolution.
Exactly! I love 00s metal. It should be remembered like a pretty productive decade. I'm looking forward to the new Into Eternity as well ;) |
