OMG OMG!!! AvA is coming to Mesa AZ Jul 18!
I got to get Tickets.

DJ Ducksauce 04-21-2006 08:08 PM

They need to tour in Austin rather than at locations 2 1/2 hours away. :-\

DepthsOfDreams555 04-21-2006 08:28 PM

Where are dates? I want to see dates. I WILL be at the Chicago show on that tour. I'm so pumped for it. I'm seeing AVA on May 25th too.

NVM I got dates.

yourstruly 04-21-2006 09:09 PM

If they come to NZ i'll probably go, if I can afford tickets.
Did you see the black and white version or the color?

They're different.
punkrocker-182 04-21-2006 09:46 PM

Someone has died after the first AVA concert, and alot of people want Tom at the funeral.

Bad Blood 04-22-2006 04:09 PM

That's really bad :(

Knowing Tom, the only reason he'd go to the funeral is to get more respect from people, to build his ego.

/deja-vu :p

Get Fighted 04-22-2006 04:11 PM

I hope he doesn't go actually, it'll turn into a media event. A letter to the family would be good of him.

punkrocker-182 04-22-2006 04:47 PM

Wait i didn't c anything about AVA?
It said somthing about a freeway crash?

EDIT: Oh now i see it NVM
Yeah thats really bad. :(

Pazz 04-22-2006 04:48 PM

It just said that the kid was inspired by Tom Delonge.

yourstruly 04-22-2006 06:38 PM

That's pretty sad. I doubt Tom will have time to go to a funeral, and hopefully he realises if he went it would be a circus.

Get Fighted 04-23-2006 09:03 AM

Someone on the official AVA forums has told Tom's sister of the news and she is passing it on to Tom.

2muchket! 04-23-2006 10:57 AM

Seen both videos for the adventure. The colour reminds me of the yorkshire dales for some strange reason. Anyway I like AVA more of a mature sound IMO.

Surtr 04-23-2006 06:32 PM

I'm listening to Down right now, and also the rest of the S/T album..I'm in a yet again sad mood, and it's a nice album to listen to when your in that mood. Everything Pre-Boxcar was something I listened to for fun, but all this other stuff is nice to listen to when your feeling down.

"Tidal Waves, They Rip Right Through Me, Tears From Eyes Worn, Cold And Sad, Pick Me Up Now, I Need You So Bad.."

DepthsOfDreams555 04-23-2006 07:30 PM

Ya, everything before the S/T is just real fun music, but the S/T is good when you're in kinda that sad mood. I don't like Down very much though.

DJ Ducksauce 04-23-2006 09:30 PM

Down is pretty neat live. Changed up a bit from S/T.

S/T was the album that got me into blink. I was a late starter. I used to listen to S/T tons.

yourstruly 04-24-2006 12:48 AM

How come it took you so long to find out about a band that's been around for over a decade and is extremely famous?

DJ Ducksauce 04-24-2006 07:48 AM

I'd heard all the small things, what's my age again, and mutt, but I didn't really get into them after hearing Feeling This and then actually buying a CD. Order of CD's bought by them: S/T, TOYPAJ, EOTS & Dude Ranch, then Cheshire Cat. So basically, almost in backwards order. I was also 13 or so when I did get into them, so that seems about right.
AVA is gonna tour with TBS and Head Automatica in North America.

Sweetness.
I would definitely go see that. I haven't heard any Head Automatica, but I'd still go just to see TBS and AVA.

If I had the courage to drive in Houston or Dallas, I'd go too...
