Eh, sick of having my musical tastes solely associated with the deftones due to that old name. Idiots seem to think I don't know my Akercocke from my Anthrax, purely because of that title. It's been a while, but finally im on cable internet! wOOt!

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 02:55 AM

Doug Keyser is an insaneeeeee Bassist.

Yeah, that'd suck. Fortunately I was one of the people aware of your musical knowledge. Gonna be round more now you have cable internet?

Oh yeah, I'm in the process of uploading the Mad Butcher EP by Destruction, for everyone that's not heard 'em, so sit tight.

Prison Bound 04-09-2005 03:51 AM

Yeah I'll be here rather often. I'm on school holidays at the moment, so I'll be maxin' here alot. Hows uni been? Still got that thrash crew there?

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 03:58 AM

Haha, Uni? me? Nah, that was Joel (JMet). I don't know what's happened to him... seems to have disappeared.

Sadly, I'm an unemployed bum.

Edit: Ok, it's finally uploaded.

I spoke to him on soulseek a while ago. He said he has given up the whole forums thing, and real life is rocking as a result! He is still on soulseek regularly though.

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 08:22 AM

Wow, I'm the longest member that's still active on here.

I'm proud.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2005 08:35 AM

What about griffin?

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 08:46 AM

I meant in the thread.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2005 09:08 AM

oh right. :upset:

RavenousMetalist87 04-09-2005 10:01 AM

Thanks to ThrashMaster, my IPod will be happy XD

I downloaded all of All Hell Breaks Loose, except I didn't get the intro. I didn't feel it was neccessary. Plus the sample didn't work so I was like "****it".

Other than that I actually like. May take a few more listens to grow on me, but it.

Ooo I love this song *thrashes* XD

RCA 04-09-2005 10:05 AM

Razor needs to play some shows in the southeastern United States. I really would like to see them!

Welcome back deftoned! I wasn't around when you created this thread, but many thanks for doing so. It's definately the best one on MX IMO.

NP: Horde Of Torment - Product of A Sick Mind

RavenousMetalist87 04-09-2005 10:09 AM

I did a quick research on "Decibels", and supposedly, it's just like any other Razor album. Fast, heavy, full speed ahead and no compromising. It's said to be probably one of the last best releases from the band...I better go back and read that review and do some more research a bit.

Personally, I think Evil Invaders is a **** good CD. Now what makes it more funny is if you put "in my pants" at the end of any song you're listening to.

XD

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 10:15 AM

Ok, it's gonna take ****ing ages. But I'm uploading Coroner - Mental Vortex for you all. It was almost an hour uploading the Mad Butcher EP....so you ****ers best have downloaded it! anyway, I know Mental Vortex is a tricky album to grab so you can grab it here.

Decibels isn't the best Razor release... not musically, lyrically, anything, but it is still decent.

RCA, Razor isn't gonna be playing there any time soon... they hardly ever play. They've played 2 shows in the past 2 and a half years. Both shows were in Toronto...and now it seems the band has fallen off the face of the earth. All the members are doing other projects right now, except for Dave Carlo, who injured his arm a while back.

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 10:24 AM

Evil Invaders.

You got your best release there.

It is an excellent. Nowhere Fast = pwnage XD

I'm just waiting for RCA to be on SlSk, but it says he's away. He was going to give me Violent Restitution, but I can wait a bit.

ThrashMaster, thanks for the Mad Butcher upload. Now I can have a learning track when I trying to play the song on guitar.

Oy, and the rest of the album is good too

SLATANIC-666 04-09-2005 10:38 AM

Welcome back deftoned :D

I had quite a big haul today, picked up Speed Kill Hate - Acts of Insanity, Overkill - Necroshine & From the Underground and below and Exodus - Pleasures of the Flesh. I absolutely love SKH, they're quite brutal imo, great thrash. I went to a different city today and was delighted when I found them, I think I'll be making that journey a lot more now :D

I haven't found the Speed Kill Hate album yet. I'll look again today. If not I'll just order it.

/feels like a poseur XD

ThrashMaster27 04-09-2005 10:45 AM

I saw the Spped/ Kill/ Hate album when I was in town. Sadly, I only had $20 (Aus) so I couldnt get it. So who is actually in the band?
I saw the Spped/ Kill/ Hate album when I was in town. Sadly, I only had $20 (Aus) so I couldnt get it. So who is actually in the band?
Tim Mallare - Drums
Dave Linsk - Guitars
Derek Tailer - Bass
Some guy named Mario on Vocals

The top three are all current Overkill members, so I haven't yet sample these guys, but I'm sure they're very similar to the 'Kill, just maybe with a different taste of vocals

metal-militia 04-09-2005 11:10 AM

Derek Tailor plays bass too? The top 3 are on the Wrecking Everyything Live album, and they get the classics just right.

Sabbat CD still hasn't arrived. :(

I agree.

The DVD shows that they can carry the torch just as well as Bobby Gustafon and Rat Skates.

Ok so I can't remember how to spell too great x.x

I personally think that Dave, Tim and Derek do a great addition to the "WRECKING CREW"!

*thrash* hehe :D

Good luck the postal service over there, Metal-Militia. America isn't any better x.x

RavenousMetalist87 04-09-2005 11:57 AM

I just realized at the end of Mad Butcher (The one ThrashMaster kindly donated), they play "The Pink Panther".

Just listen to it after the song ends, and after awhile, there will be some silence. Then they come back with some weird song, but it's the Pink Panther theme XD

That's just as classic as Rotten To The Core (live) with You Are My Sunshine from the **** You and Then Some EP, then Stalinhagel's odd ending on One Night in Bangkok, then...well lets see, who else does some crazy things in thrash...

Coroner's cover of Purple Haze makes me want to go learn it XD

I don't know man, I'd tip the hat to VIOLENT RESTITUTION! It's just so...intense! Right from the start The Marshall Arts is just like... *raging headbanging* RAHHHH!

SLATANIC-666 04-09-2005 02:20 PM
Dude, that was fvcking hot. Do you have any more live footage from the 80s?
Oh yeah, I forgot to thank you for that Vio-lence. It was fvcking awesome. lmao when Paul says 'How many people go out on the streets looking to kick someones fvckin' ***'. Man I think I love Exodus even more now. Slayer were awesome on there too and I enjoyed Kerrys solos for a change. Shame Venom were cut short though :(

Yeh Tailer plays Bass in Speed Kill hate, and guitar in the 'Kill.

And the Wrecking Everything Live CD/DVD is a great listen

metal-militia 04-09-2005 06:14 PM

What other stuff is on the DVD? I've got the CD but i'm wondering if i should get the DVD too.
