Yeah for sure, God Of War I and II were amazing. I had such a great time playing them. I tried to play II again after absolutely ages and found I had lost all aptitude for it.

I haven't had a drop of alcohol since start of oct last year and thats including 5 21sts, Christmas, and New Years.

Actually I think there was some brandy in the christmas pudding lol but whatev.

Good work. The world mens average handicap is around th21 mark so 12 is good. They say that only 1% of Golfers worldwide will ever play off single figures. Obv yeah I suffer from a chronic addiction to golf. I am a member of a club and play every sat without fail. A bit of decent drinking goes on too!!. As for what I play off, well yes I am a single figure player I play off 7. It took some effort tho, ****ing hard to get lower too. I've got a feeling about this sat.......

i dunno, if i practiced id be single figures for sure but i dont. i played district pennants for my club for probs 3-4 years i guess maybe more but was always heaps **** and play like number 5 or 6
im just not that into it lately, mainly because i keep playing ****. im probs gunna pull out of this saturdays game though cuz im goin out friday night and i dont wanna play golf after like 3 hours sleep, so me old man will probs get the poops cuz im meant to be playing in his group

It's like, the better you are, the lower your handicap.

It modifies your final score so you can play against someone who might be much better or worse than you, but you end up with measures of your performance relative to your ability so you can compare how you went in that regard.

although in competition they generally have two strands kind of, a scratch competition and a nett competition. scratch is just the raw score you had, while nett is with your handicap deducted.

Funny you should mention that, I just had a bit of a win in the last few days, in that my Callaway FT5 recently fell apart so I tok it back to Drummond and they sent it to callaway and a few days later a replacement brand new FT9 was in my possession. Unbeleivable, my $299 ex demo into a brand new $730 driver. Win.

my uncle had a great big bertha II that got a bit of a rattle after he had it for like two years, bought a new driver but then thought 'what the heck' took the big bertha to some golf shop to see if they could send it in for him to get fixed after sitting in his cupboard for like 4 months, they sent it straight back to callaway, he got a phonecall within the week from the dealer saying callaway wouldnt fix it but theyd give him a new X-series driver. he asked if he could get the 3 wood instead and they were like 'yeah sure go for it, take it'

yeah very happy, hence the "good" feeling about saturday. As for my sticks I got Wilson Staff pi5's (same as Padraig Harrington), Wilson staff FI5 fairway, Cleveland Hi bore hybrid, Ping Craz-e Karsten putter and Cleveland cg10 wedges. Next purchase will be Callway X22 tour irons and a 3 wood but not sure what to get yet.

ah sweet...you should check out those x-forged irons, theyre really nice if youre going for callaway

i have a taylor made r7 460 driver (chinese head with a proper grafallow shaft in it from over here), taylor made burner 3 wood (one of the old old school bubble shaft ones haha). for irons i have those titleist ap-2 irons which are so, so nice, best irons ive ever hit. i also got a ping copy sand wedge and a titleist vokey 64 deg. wedge for cheap that i got one of the blokes i play with on a weekend to bring back from the us last year, and a chinese taylormade rossa putter (not sure whether its a fake or not, but i really like it so meh)

The R9's look a bit much imo, the R7 is a classic. I got a mate that works for Titleist but not in a position that will enable cheaper clubs!! spewing. Yeah i do love those AP2's too, i know i said I wanted callaways but failing the test (having em fitted, testing etc)my next option was the AP2's they look so good.

yeah i really dont like the way taylormade have gone with their clubs...the r580, r5 and r7s were great clubs, but theyve gone funny with the drivers now. the burner is really good though. and i dont like their new irons either...the old ones look mint but the new ones are too chunky and hi-tech

and yeah i know a couple of the good golfers from my club off like 1 and 4 reckon the r9 was heaps bad, they couldnt get it to do anything at all
yet they both hit the burner and reckon it went heaps long for them...who knows what they changed or ****ed up

edit: lol joel i was so good on 07, and i have 08 im fair sure and im heaps **** lol...the controls got heaps touchier, i dunno
