I find it very, very boring. The first track is good, but the rest is just monotinous same-y stuff.

Because I brought them up a few times in the Grind thread?

Invicta_Veritas 10-16-2007 08:45 PM

I just discovered them because one of the Project Staff here used to be nieghbors with the bassist and one of my instructors has done live sound for them before. Happened to be a really good find as it turns out.

we of mx frown upon links to really lengthy videos such as that.

What the piss was that?

And what? You pointed out that they're Death/Grind, and in doing so, made an irrelevant point. He asked if anyone liked them, not if HBP could tell him they were death/grind.

LifeInABox 10-16-2007 08:49 PM

Ok, Coke. Now explain to me the point of raping the poop out of it.

Because you had to go out of your way to point out to me that they weren't totally dm, which was pointless. I tried to ignite a discussion about a good band that I just found, and it doesn't blatantly not belong in this thread, so you could have let it be.

masscows 10-16-2007 08:52 PM

so

Demilich sounds really good so far. I can see the vocals becoming grating at one point or another, but they aren't too bad now. This is really impressive considering when the album was written/recorded.

Deth 10-16-2007 08:52 PM

Yeah, it's wayyyyy ahead of it's time. It was hard for me to believe it came out in '92.

Brutal Truth are a band I've been putting off checking out forever. I always forget to find something.

if you can take the vocals at first, they'll eventually just fall into place and you wont notice them as much.

I'm pretty sure Nespithe came out in 1993... but yeah it was way ahead of it's time. I really need to listen to it again just so I can digest it and take it all in...

pate 10-16-2007 08:59 PM

Brutal Truth is essential.

LifeInABox 10-16-2007 09:04 PM

Zombie Ritual is so fun.

NemesisDivina 10-16-2007 09:46 PM

it's the death metal sing along:

Drink from the goblet, the goblet of gore
Taste the zombie's drug, now you want more
Drifting from the living, joining with the dead
Zombie dwelling maggots, now infest your head

Zombie ritual
Zombie ritual

Tyler 10-16-2007 09:46 PM

I was talking about the band. The Death song rules too though, one of my first DM tracks.

NemesisDivina 10-16-2007 09:49 PM

Wow, I should've guessed that. They look pretty crazy... Death/Thrash from Japan? I'm gonna have to say that almost any band with zombie lyrical themes is gonna be fun. LMFAO, I like the stage names too (Alchohol- Guitar)

Tyler 10-16-2007 09:54 PM

Night Of The Zombie Party is really good
