5 years/LiT DVD has all of them up until FII. I don't think they made any after that anyways.

It's seems with Octavarium they didn't really care about shredding as much, just making kickass songs. And that's the way it should be.

I wouldn't really call the Lie solo shred (Well, the legato run at the beginning of the solo, but sif that makes the whole thing shred).

methinks petrucci likes it just a tad too much. he's still one of my favorite guitarrists though

Personally, I think that the improv on Hollow Years is a perfect example of how shred can be used well. Same goes for Another Day.

Yeah, the hollow years bit is amazing, comes into the song flawlessly.

I was listen DT right now and came up with this question, which i can't still answer. What song do you like more A Cahnge of Seasons or Octavarium?

I like Octavarium better personally. I actully don't think I like ACOS quite as much as everyone else seems to. It just doesn't seem up to par with thier other epics but I still love it. Octavarium on the other hand is more gripping to me and full of more lushious melodies and moods.

Meh, imo Petrucci does't shred enough...

i prefer 8vm more over ACOS myself at this point. although another world and razor's edge are tied as overall favorite sections.
