Been listening to the Warriors, and they're pretty awesome, I might just have to go see them with 100 Demons in April.
What is 100 demons' official site? I'm getting int othem a little.

cbmartinez 02-27-2005 12:02 PM

That Vogelisms thing made me rofl. Especially the level 7 stage dive.

I've got "Tianenman Square Dance" by A Kiss Farewell. Awesome album. One of the few bands of their type (fast, chaotic metalcore/tech-metal) that I enjoy.

And I liked Trace My Veins, judging from their PV stuff, but they're just another generic pseudo screamo band.

cbmartinez 02-27-2005 12:23 PM

Yeah, I remember you telling me about A Kiss Farewell. They rule.

cbmartinez 02-27-2005 12:31 PM

omg telepathic

"4/16" is such an amazing song.

NewKindofArmy03 02-27-2005 12:43 PM

What do they sound like? If I go to Bane, i'll be seeing them next Monday.

cbmartinez 02-27-2005 01:11 PM

It's like a fusion of pop-punk and hardcore but it doesn't sound cheesy. They have their agressive moments and their softer vocal harmony moments. The singer's voice is incredibly emotional and they're just an all around energetic band.

NewKindofArmy03 02-27-2005 02:26 PM

Haha, I imagine them being better live. I just hope I can get to the show.

Hm, where the fuck are London and Hamilton? Probably too far away.

Let's Chop Cats! 02-27-2005 10:50 PM

WHY IS IT AT CB'S!!!

Lame I think I have finals like the week after that so my mom will make me study for no reason.

BuddyBigsby 02-27-2005 10:54 PM
Do they incorporate a lot of old songs into their set? I only have Walk Together, Rock Together (and I have the mp3 of Young Til I Die)... I'd love to sing along to some of it when I see them.
Yup, played tons off of WT,RT and The Crew. Couple off Good to Go and the new one, couple off their early early stuff (like the second 7") and some I didn't recognize.

BuddyBigsby 02-27-2005 10:55 PM

Oh, and they even did the "99 Red Balloons" cover.

Let's Chop Cats! 02-27-2005 10:55 PM

Awesome, I'm siked for their show. Hopefully I can go. Stupid weekdays in the city.

I saw them posted on AF's website

40 oz 2 freedom 02-27-2005 11:16 PM

Blacklisted tomorrow. Hopefully I can find a ride.

BuddyBigsby 02-27-2005 11:56 PM

I got Blacklisted next Thursday with IA and Snake Eyes. This week I got FASSW/THE ACACIA STRAIN BE JEALOUS/Into the Moat, and then Misery Signals/18V/Emery the next day. I would've had Psyopus on Saturday if they ever e-mailed me back about booking them, but NOOOOOOOOO, so now they're skipping over us completely. Lame.

CONNER_NWHC 02-27-2005 11:58 PM

How do you afford to go to so many shows?
