Jon 10-11-2006 05:41 PM

In England we have half term around this time, much better ;)

Ghostfire3 10-11-2006 06:05 PM

It's spirit week here too.

Yesterday was black and white day. I don't even know why it was black and white day considering our colors are blue and black. Then today was " '50s/'60s/'70s/'80s day" where you could dress from one of those decades. Then tomorrow is "dress like your favorite movie or rock star day" Spirit week is so stupid.

coheneran 10-11-2006 06:07 PM

Who gets to decide the days' themes? Seniors? If that's the case, I suggest to any seniors who may be here, a "Pathetic Attempt To Make School Fun Day" where everyone can do whatever they find the most fun.

(r)evolution 10-11-2006 06:14 PM

remember elementary school spirit days? like backwards day and crazy hat day and pyjama day. Good times.

asdf 10-11-2006 06:19 PM

My elementary had hippie day. I totally owned at that.

Tomorrow is 80's day at my school. I totally own at that, too. That's everyone's favorite day at my school, and I really like it, too. Then again, they all wear stupid ****, but I dress in my mom's authentic 80's stuff.

coheneran 10-11-2006 06:25 PM

If we had 80's day in college, I would dress Kriss-Kross, innit bro?

Jon 10-11-2006 06:31 PM

If we had an 80's day I'd dress weekend.

I've come in dressed all glampunk a few times, either when I've been out allnight or when I've going out straight from college.

Whats weird is that I get less shiit in our ghetto abode for wearing cowboys boots, safety pins in my ears, girls jeans, spandex, and whatever else than I did at JFS just for wearing cowboy boots once or twice.

Whats with that? Getting told by 13 year old jews but not by 4 000 would be crips..

Glitterati 10-11-2006 06:33 PM

I wish they had movie characters for one of my schools theme days. I would go as either Vincent from Pulp Fiction or The Dude from The Big Lebowski.

coheneran 10-11-2006 06:41 PM

You mean you'd either wear a suit, or a dressing-robe, boxers and a wife-beater?

Jon 10-11-2006 06:41 PM

first thought is Jason, or possibly the dude from house of 1000 corpses, but I'm not sure, I'd have to think it through.

Glitterati 10-11-2006 06:52 PM
a dressing-robe, boxers and a wife-beater?
What's this I hear? what was that last night, a 5-1 victory? And that Yankees picther commiting suicide after being beaten by the Tigers?

Jon 10-11-2006 06:56 PM

oh eran i might dress up for college on halloween

coheneran 10-11-2006 07:11 PM

So will I John. I'll come naked. With just a knee-length t-shirt, so everyone can see my **** swinging way past the knee.

Jon 10-11-2006 07:13 PM

I shall be absent on that day then :)

I'd just love to come into college with full zombie makeup, covered in Danzig-quantities of blood etc etc.

Jon 10-11-2006 07:19 PM

Do whatever you want as long as it doesn't involve your balls dangling all over the place.

Flagjacket 10-11-2006 07:25 PM

You two stop having your retarded personal conversations.

coheneran 10-11-2006 07:27 PM

Oh sorry, I forgot everything must tie in to you somehow, Kevin.

asdf 10-11-2006 07:29 PM

I'm dressing as Slash for halloween. Very easy costume, as I already have a top hat and a jew-fro.

coheneran 10-11-2006 07:30 PM

You're Jewish!??!

No juste verythign everywhere is you two tal;king about meeting up in London to bomb Winston Churchill or something. Also, this is a forum, not private messenger. Things you say should be things everyone can comment on.

Lol, sorry we talked about things that American people could obviously never comprehend, like an English college Halloween.

The last two pages are pretty much about "spirit week" which doesn't happen here (so us Brits are auto-excluded) and when we say how we might dress up and make a couple dick jokes, you accuse us of IMing the forum!
being the creative diy queen dealie, what was your best halloween costume?
My whole family goes all-out for halloween, yet I can't really think of any that I was particularly creative on. A few years ago I was someone who was in a bicycling accident (had bike pieces all over me and was covered in blood), but any years before that it was mostly my mom making the costume with my directon, but yeah, they are pretty much all home made. My raccoon one was probably the most awesome.

We also have in the house carella deville, Magenta, wednesday adams, The Crow, Alex from a clockwork orange, Mary Catherine gallager (superstar), marsha brady, the hunchback, and alien, a scarecrow... many many costumes.

(r)evolution 10-11-2006 07:41 PM

wow.... the best ive ever been was... the charlie brown ghost. You know, the sheet with a bunch of holes all over?

That sucks, dude.

My family gives people who don't dress up ****ty candy, and really gets pissed at them. People with really awesome costumes get extra. That is, if the kids don't get scared ****less by my house/family first.

At my house, people can come here with no idea what they're going to be, and end up with a costume. My attic is full of some amazing junk.
