i've been there man, in your brothers position, the best thing you can do is just talk to him and try to make him feel better and all the generic shit for breakups, but just remind him that life rules and that in 6 months time he probably won't even think about her.

The thing is dude, I've been in his position, and maybe it was only a 2 year relationship and not a 4 year, but goddamn. At least she didn't cheat on him. At least he didn't break up with her and then keep hooking up with her for 4 months until he found out she's fucking one of his friends behind his back.
