Aaron 01-04-2010 08:43 PM

There will be no core.

Si1v3RfaNg 01-04-2010 08:45 PM
There will be no core.
Aaron 01-04-2010 08:47 PM

Diamond metal.

Si1v3RfaNg 01-04-2010 08:48 PM

Yeah... I think Repulsion did but wiki says Napalm Death did. lol

EdgeOfSanity 01-04-2010 09:07 PM

Naked City and John Zorn rule.

Txus 01-04-2010 09:09 PM

Tbh Siege and Electro Hippies did but Napalm Death, Repulsion and Extreme Noise Terror developed the genre.

And yes, anything Zorn related is good.

EdgeOfSanity 01-04-2010 09:10 PM

Siege rules too.

RetiredAt21 01-04-2010 09:29 PM

Siege is fast hardcore and Electro Hippies are crust, how did they invent grind?

Txus 01-04-2010 09:30 PM

they were the first ones to have the grind sound and based on them the genre started tbh

weaboo 01-04-2010 09:31 PM

Siege heil

Txus 01-04-2010 09:34 PM

Which album?

EdgeOfSanity 01-04-2010 09:42 PM

The only grind I listened to today was some Jesus Crost and FETO.

Txus 01-04-2010 09:43 PM

Erased from the Memory of Man

but it doesn't really matter, the three lp's are good imo

Guess I'm checking out Siege then, because their name is cooler. I still have Repulsion up there in my favorite grind bands.

RetiredAt21 01-04-2010 09:47 PM

Siege rules. Drop Dead is one of the heaviest hardcore albums ever.

Si1v3RfaNg 01-04-2010 09:49 PM
Siege rules. Drop Dead is one of the heaviest hardcore albums ever.
Definitely checking it out if you think that. Because you listen to some heavy as **** hardcore.

Aaron 01-04-2010 10:15 PM
Why not?
Not modern "core" influences, is what I meant. I don't want to sound like Blessed By A Broken Heart playing jazz . I have a real aversion to that suffix in genre labelling.

Nepenthe 01-04-2010 10:16 PM

for the record theres nothing hardcore about blessed by a broken heart

Aaron 01-04-2010 10:19 PM

Fine; I don't want to sound like Emmure playing chugfusion.

Nepenthe 01-04-2010 10:21 PM

sorry had to flex my latissimus genri a little bit

Aaron 01-04-2010 10:26 PM

Do you mean latissimus dorsi? Lawl.

Nepenthe 01-04-2010 11:34 PM

no genri its the muscle in your body that controls genre correction impulses

Aaron 01-05-2010 06:14 AM

Nah, you're thinking of the nasolacrimal duct. Easy to confuse though, it's cool.

RetiredAt21 01-05-2010 10:20 AM
Definitely checking it out if you think that. Because you listen to some heavy as **** hardcore.
witchxrapist 01-05-2010 01:17 PM

Ya dude np.

It's honestly more just really weird experimental deathcore.

Most experimenting with tunings.
