Moses 05-30-2005 09:54 PM

Yeah I'll be fine doing vocals.

Kage 05-30-2005 09:54 PM

Stinkfist:
Guitars - Kage
Bass - JoZ
Drums - Remedy, Faith, or Sliptallica (?)
Vocals - letmypeopleho, or POSSIBLY Kage

Sober:
Guitars - Jake
Bass - Joz
Drums - Remedy
Vocals- letmypeopleho

Part of Me:
Guitars - kurrptsenate
Bass - JoZ
Drums - Remedy
Vocals - letmypeopleho

And of course, our mixer for all of this will be Ben, a.k.a. AJIG.

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-30-2005 09:57 PM

You know what though...The Part of Me that I have sucks. I think Kurrpt did a one take deal on it, and the drums aren't mic'd to perfection. Of Course, JoZ did a pristine job, but I think it should be redone. Remedy, you up for that?

Sleeper 05-30-2005 09:57 PM

Sounds good to me, I wonder where Ken has been.

Darkness 05-30-2005 09:57 PM

Where has the Joz been? He's never here anymore. Same with Ken, but I know hes busy with his own band.

Well I guess the Joz is to...

Kage 05-30-2005 10:01 PM

Good question. No matter, though, we've gotten what we need out of him so far.

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-30-2005 10:05 PM

He was on AIM earlier today, I beleive. I didn't talk to him though. He's way ahead of us, so I'm not complaining about his absense. :p

jamesclelland 05-30-2005 10:14 PM

if you guys want to anything off of lateralus, i could do 2/3, 8, 9, 12 (12 wouldn't sound that close to the album version though)

RockStar 05-30-2005 10:18 PM

any knews on tools new cd?

and concerts (particularly to Australia)?

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-30-2005 10:19 PM
if you guys want to anything off of lateralus, i could do Eon Blue Apocolypse, The Patient, Ticks & Leeches, Lateralus, and triad (Triad wouldn't sound that close to the album version though)
Lazyass. :p Anyways, How well can you pull Lateralus?

I assume we're talking about guitar here...If not, clarify plzkthx

Remedy, could you do Lateralus?

To guy asking about new album- We're hoping the end of '05. As for a tour, there are rumors of a Tool and Isis mini tour. No news of when, or where, so that's about it. Also, there's rumor of an 18 minute song on the new album that's going to turned into a ring tone.

Huber 05-30-2005 10:21 PM

If he can't, I can. The only Tool songs I can play are Lateralus and Ticks and Leeches.

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-30-2005 10:23 PM

If you're going to know a pair of Tool tracks, those would be the two to know. :p

Dude3 05-30-2005 10:24 PM

Is there going to be anymore songs for the Tool thread, in the competition?
If so, I can contribute some guitar for it.

Kage 05-30-2005 10:25 PM

Lateralus would be fun, I love playing that song on guitar.

Huber 05-30-2005 10:25 PM

I think there is like 965,458,789,652,258,456,321,456 guitarists in this thread.

Dude3 05-30-2005 10:25 PM

Third Eye would be awesome..............................................

Sleeper 05-30-2005 10:26 PM

Yeh i can pull lateralus.

Sleeper 05-30-2005 10:27 PM
Third Eye would be awesome..............................................
Third eye is really hard to pick out, Such as the begining.

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-30-2005 10:27 PM

Seriously man...Too many guitarists. Not enough of anything else.

I think we were talking about doing Lateralus and JoZ said that that was the one song that he couldn't totally pull off. The whammy part near the end of the song is what he said he couldn't do. I recall that, but I could be wrong. Either way, it would own.

Huber 05-30-2005 10:28 PM

Indeed, that song is a groovy tune.

Dr. Jake Destructo 05-30-2005 10:28 PM

Is there a Third Eye tab on mxtabs? I don't ever use those, but it would be nice to have, since there isn't a powertab for it.

Kage 05-30-2005 10:33 PM

Third Eye would be a huge beast to tackle, though. It's tough to get it to sound right on any instrument.

Kage 05-30-2005 10:34 PM

Moses 05-30-2005 10:37 PM

Third Eye is going to be impossible. We should set that aside until we have the other three done.

Kage 05-30-2005 10:38 PM

Yes. We need to start simple, so I think the ones we're talking about now are perfect to begin with.

Sleeper 05-30-2005 10:38 PM

Third Eye IMO, Would be a pain to cover. But if you guys wanna attempt it, Go ahead.

Sleeper 05-30-2005 10:39 PM

Sober would be good to start with, Thats the easiest of the three.

Dude3 05-30-2005 10:40 PM

Sorry guys. It was a joke. Kinda.

Moses 05-30-2005 10:40 PM
Sober would be good to start with, Thats the easiest of the three.
I agree. Then Stinkfist, then Part of Me (different style of vocals).
