Sure, don't insult Islam, OBVIOUSLY, because we are not racist.

However running around like headless chickens over some stupid cartoons is silly. That, and I have no idea how the police let them get away with it. They were basically saying that they would gladly matyr themselves on the tube, in a plane, whatever, and they're allowed to stand around doing that freely?

I'm all for freedom of speech, but at least let us talk about sex and drugs in general discussion if you are going to let one-day-mujahideen walk around the streets.

It's a far cry between saying you'll do something and actually doing it. People are just sensitive about terrorism so they react strongly (as you are) when someone talks about it. Like, if you make a joke about Nazism around most Jews, they'll recoil and flinch. I don't find this happens much in our generation, but definitely in my parents' generation, and obviously before that.
