:D

So tomorrow morning bright and early yeah? Gotta make the most of em.
Yeah, I used to run it, and we had a thread for it, but Nick said it was against the rules, so I started doing it from a blog, but I don't have p2p (network firewall) so I relied on people sending it to me and me sending it on to the list. But people stopped sending me stuff pretty quickly. I suggest making an e-group so people can send stuff straight on. Of course this usually results in tonnes of emails and spam, but if everyone set their membership onto weekly digest, it's one email a week full of music.

/2cents
It's not really against the rules, every other forum has them. Plus we're unmodded now so meh. If there's an interest I'll set it up again.

I'm afraid I just got in, now, it's 5am, so I won't be up bright OR early tommorow, but the shrooms are real easy to find. They don't look like any shrooms I've seen before, but the mushroom guide from the library says they are, and so does wiki. Just walk around underneath trees and in the groves, you'll find them. I'm not dead yet, and it's been quite a few hours, I ate 6 and I'm not feeling anything. I think it's best if you take maybe 8-14 of them. Eat 1 at first, and after 40 minutes if you're feeling alright (ie. not puking or tripping out) eat another 7 or 8, and an hour or two after that if it's not strong enough for you, eat another five. Best results are if you boil them in milk and drink a glass, or if you eat them in a cheese sandwich or pizza, since the psilocybin is fat-soluble, I think. Here's the type you're looking for:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psilocybe_cyanescens

And remember, "If in doubt, leave it out."

Excursions 10-06-2006 11:35 PM

If you just picked them out of the ground and ate them as they were then you need quite a few because alot of the component in the mushroom is made up of water. They grow in the padock next to my house infact, last time I looked.
Hey guys I have a couple questions:
Would you use a mailing list (for album downloads) if I started one in here? Do you want one?

and

Would you participate and contribute if I put it together?
Only if obscure and interesting music was uploaded.

coheneran 10-06-2006 11:40 PM

Are yours English though? And are they the same type?

I saw a couple of Fly Agarics, but they're too much hassle to prepare and they're not illegal so I can buy them fully prepared in head shops, but their trips are completely sporadic and you can't ensure you won't get a bad trip, or that it will even work. But man, they look so cool.

Rise Me Up 10-07-2006 12:25 AM

lol.

A punk mailing list would indeed be awesome.

Brain Toad 10-07-2006 03:03 AM

Anxious 10-07-2006 03:22 AM
Soulseek > Mailing Lists

Not if you don't have soulseek or time to go around browsing other people's folders. It's nice to have something sent out to you.

TakeWarning 10-07-2006 10:37 AM

Or if your Soulseek doesn't work very well.

(r)evolution 10-07-2006 11:07 AM

Not when you want something you only have one source for and they alwasys have like 500 in queue. Or if they have like no connection.

Liebensaft 10-07-2006 02:05 PM

I prefer slsk, myself.
Not when you want something you only have one source for and they alwasys have like 500 in queue. Or if they have like no connection.
If that's the case with slsk, chances are high that you won't be able to find it with a mailing list.

Brain Toad 10-07-2006 03:09 PM
Not when you want something you only have one source for and they alwasys have like 500 in queue. Or if they have like no connection.
Yet the majority of the music in the mailing list comes from SLSK.

Not true. If a user here has a high queue and just dumps an album to a fileshare, no problems anymore.
Yet the majority of the music in the mailing list comes from SLSK.
Probably.

I get more music from the mailing lists here than slsk anyways. I pick up more random things when there's a description with the link and such.

Schizophrenia 10-07-2006 03:38 PM

Slsk is just really slow and buggy with me these days =(

Have you got the newest version? It was like that 2 years ago, not anymore.

Danger Bird 10-07-2006 03:51 PM

I haven't downloaded anything in like 2 months, I have no idea why. I'm just not finding any new music. I think all music might be starting to lose its appeal for me...

that's a scary thought.

Anxious 10-07-2006 03:53 PM

Break out of your musical shell, bitch.
