screamo isn't a genre, i've covered this point in depth already. there is no "best" emo band, everyone has different tastes and preferences. I'm currently digging Gospel a lot, and my favorite band of the genre would have to be Hot Cross.

hot cross is pretty good

Underoath's my favorite screamo band.

My favorite emo band is either My Chemical Romance or Fall Out Boy...

EDIT: The Used are probably my other favorite screamo band.

my favorite emo bands: the red scare, orchid, city of caterpillar, hassan i sabbah, pg. 99, wow, owls!, usurp synapse (i like mainly the chaotic bands but there are a lot of good melodic ones out there too)

i haven't heard that demo, and ben i do not care if you don't like hot cross. it does not bother me. but to say that Grind is better...that is just wrong.
