I was loooking them up and a sample started to play, I liked it right away.
Eerie black metal, with some old Mayhem influences at times.

Never heard of Witchcraft. Must be pretty good if it sounds like old Mayhem.

The reason his albums were liked that was because he was restricted to using only a small selection of instruments. He even mentioned around 2006 that if he recorded more Burzum it'd be like his older stuff since he has the freedom to use what he wants.

In the last update though, he mentioned how he plans on dissapearing from the public after his release from prison.

He can still make music and not be seen in the public eye. Its not like he's Britney Spears.

Yeah i've heard some from them and it was really good. I actually tried to find their albums a couple of times, but it seems like they're really hard to find. The one song from SW that i remember hearing that was really good was The Vampiric Tyrant.

I would say Pentagram is the best. Both are amazing though. The only bad album by Gorgoroth IMO is Incipit Satan.

with all that stuff they said that infernus hadn't written anything for years and years with gorgoroth so i imagine more of the newer stuff.

It should be pretty good. Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam is their best in a while.
