yeah it is kinda off beat, just a tad, lol. I was kinda expecting a complete version of the song, i beleive the bass is supposed to be lower C# or maybe ti's just my really crappy computer speaker, either way.
I noticed you have been posting sporadically in here lately... Welcome :)

This thread has been sort of dead in the last couple of days.

Ive always wondered of salival was filmed during an outdoor concert or in doors. . . anyone care to tell me?

I've never actually seen the video to Salival, but i have heard the cd a few times. It sounds inside a stadium to me. I'm not completely sure, so i'll let someone else verify that for you.

What? off what album is it exactly?

Huber 07-03-2005 01:52 AM

I thought Salival contained no Live videos, but only the music videos and then live tracks on the CD?

One Groovin Clown 07-03-2005 01:57 AM

that may be true, i'm not totally sure about the video content. But the cd that comes laong with it was recorded live at various shows, most of them being stadiums or inside events.

Moses 07-03-2005 12:12 PM

Might beable to get the rest of the song done today.

Mr Benners 07-03-2005 12:12 PM

iTunes Music Store

Search for: Tool
Results: A list of bands and songs a lot more obscure than Tool, but no Tool.

Search for: Lateralus
Results: Did you mean "Waterfalls"?

I have it by the way, I was just bored and testing iTunes.

It did not pass.

Wow, you'd think with Tool's reputation they might have a couple things on iTunes.

Mr.Poupon 07-03-2005 12:17 PM

Hmm... looking at their top 10 songs gives me an idea why. But that's still strange.

Mr Benners 07-03-2005 12:35 PM

My thoughts exactly.

Btw: good job on the covers there Moses, hopefully we'll be seeing some finishing up soon.

Moses 07-03-2005 01:27 PM

ATTN: Second verse done.

Mr.Poupon 07-03-2005 01:37 PM

Does anyone want the 2002-11-16 Oklahoma show? If so, I'll upload the bastard.

Moses 07-03-2005 01:40 PM

memememe

I don't know why I still don't have it.

Mr.Poupon 07-03-2005 01:45 PM

Ok I'll try to get it up by tonight..... haha

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-03-2005 01:45 PM

Merkaba- You have what I meant, so no worries. :D How are things coming?
Merkaba- You have what I meant, so no worries. :D How are things coming?
I got the first and second verse the first chorus, and some of the second chorus done. For 46& 2 that is.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-03-2005 01:52 PM

oh, are you doing it peice by peice? I did that for Sober, and it turned out badly, so now I'm a one-take kind of guy. Just like Maestro Jones himself.

Fanboyism++

Ha.

Yeah, it's alot different for vocals. I do every verse and chorus in one take, but if I sang the whole song in one take there would be more imperfections than there already are.

Yes, please upload the oklahoma show

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-03-2005 02:02 PM

Yeah, you have a good point there Moses. If I was doing something a little more technical, like maybe an Opeth song or something, I'd have to do it in sections because I couldn't pull it all off in one take. I could probably do most Tool songs in one take though. It's mostly personal preference anyways, though.

Exactly. Well now I'm back to work on recording because my Mom was screaming at me to clean my room.

I have the second half of that, and I'd really like to get the first half, so go for it.

I'm in Austin right now visiting some family, but all this talk of recording really makes me want to get home to my gear.

3074326 07-03-2005 02:34 PM

I wouldn't mind having that show, either.
