A-Life-Less-Plagued 02-23-2005 02:48 PM
Wake The Dead. Ignore cb.
Psh. Their two very different records but Turn It Around is superior. Ska Pirate, you should buy the CD that has the songs you like on it.

BuddyBigsby 02-23-2005 03:12 PM

torn, I need the name of the one song from the honeywell split I have. It's 5:34, has a big feedback part right in the middle which leads to some slightly distorted chord strumming and then the bass drum goes DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM a bunch of times, if that helps.

PS. Kids on your nuts: http://www.collective-zine.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1294

NewKindofArmy03 02-23-2005 05:35 PM

I like Turn it Around more, but I haven't given Wake the Dead a good listen. I'll pick it up sometime soon.

My band has a really crappy recording without vocals. If you want to check it out and give me feedback, download it off of me on soulseek. It's under '04 track 04.m4a' It's on a tape recorder, so the quality is horrible.

Forest_Fire 02-23-2005 07:41 PM

A-Life-Less-Plagued 02-23-2005 07:46 PM

Actually I'm having second thoughts. They're both great albums. Get both.

Another day. Another day without my Comeback Kid cd.

Johnny EPHC 02-23-2005 09:33 PM

Does anybody have Wake The Dead yet? I was wondering if the lyrics for the songs are in the booklet, and if they are if anybody could post the lyrics for Partners In Crime.

I just found out RAMBO are playing in a couple of days in my town. They any good?

Chicago Typewriter 02-24-2005 04:54 PM

I vaguely remember them having something to do with Circle Takes the Square, and I love CTTS.

So, let's go with yes.

They rule, you better go. They're famous for their live show too, a ton of props. Costumes and fights between cops and various characters in the pit. I'm seeing them tomorrow, it's going to be the best.

I don't know what they have to do with CTTS, they don't sound alike/aren't in the same genre. RAMBO is a crusty hardcore band.
Just thought I'd once again rub in that I got Wake Your Dead for free.
My parents bought it for me. I think that's just as good.

I'm interviewing CBK in a few weeks too. I'll make a thread about it soon so you guys can post questions you might have for them.
