The line between the two colour changes is pretty odd looking, maybe if you made them angle as if looking at a wall edge on?

agreed on all points, except the graininess doesn't bother me.

i think the thing that might bother me the most is how barren the area between the text and the bush thing is when the upper right area is well balanced and interesting

you might want to try fading the text a bit
