I made my mainstream music loving brother to listen to them two days ago and now he loves them. He's been listening to that album all day today and yesterday, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Crime - San Francisco's STILL Doomed

This isn't very good, but it's enjoyable enough.

Punk.

Anxious 12-18-2005 11:19 AM
DK says you're wrong.
Well that was Crime's moto, but they were around before DK (I think). They would have yeiled to Dk's awesomeness I'm sure.

Zappa 12-18-2005 11:47 AM

Yeah, according to AMG this Crime record was recorded between '76 and '79. Earliness for the amount of hardcoreness found herein.

biografiend 12-18-2005 11:49 AM

Four Tet
Iron & Wine

I listened to De-Loused for the first time in ages yesterday. And I still love it. Even though FtM sucks all kinds of balls.

Yeah, you should get On Fire. It's my favorite, and if you like that you'll probably like their other two albums. Good band.
I would like to check this band out. Any suggestions on what to get first?
I'd say just work chronologically - starting with Today and moving from there. The general consensus is that their second album On Fire is their greatest work, so you could start there. I enjoy them both but prefer Today.
