JAtomic was still in it, but he joined us because we're totally crucialer.
Whatever you say dude.....JAtomic hasn't posted in this thread in a long time anyway |
Well I think we all pretty much knew he was gone anyway, but thats still pretty sad :(
|
At least he didn't leave for some stupid reason or on bad terms with the rest of the guys
|
Yeah thats true. I wonder who will replace him?
|
JAtomic was still in it, but he joined us because we're totally crucialer.
hahaha, once you guys get back to yer hardcore, I'll change it back.
Whatever you say dude.....JAtomic hasn't posted in this thread in a long time anyway
I would post more often, thing is, I'm much more into crossover than thrash metal, and there never seems to be discussion on that in here, though I still lurk this thread like no other. :naughty: |
hahaha, once you guys get back to yer hardcore, I'll change it back.
Hahaha, shouldn't be too long. |
Hahaha, shouldn't be too long.
Wouldn't doubt it, though it'd be cool if most of y'all would stick to crossover, I'm sure ye will, at least a bit more than the others, since ye have shown more interest in it. |
JAtomic, what's up man? When I get back from Germany I need to try to browse your files on Soulseek, so I can check into all that awesome crossover stuff that you have. :thumb:
/// I give Rick Hunolt a high-five, and now I have the utmost respect for him, I think he made the right decision, and I wish him luck in life. HOW ABOUT A BEER FOR RICK? :chug: |
:chug:
NP: Exodus - Strike of the Beast |
So, I heard Martin Walkyier and Andy Sneap have "reformed" Sabbat for a few live shows. Anyone else heard about this?
|
:O
I haven't. I would be very suprised if they reformed, considering how packed Andy Sneap's schedule probably is. |

I haven't. I would be very suprised if they reformed, considering how packed Andy Sneap's schedule probably is.
True, true. It would be cool, though they'd probably play all of their shows in England. Hopefully the shows will be bootlegged if they do happen. :D |
Isn't Andy like a big time producer now or something?
|
Isn't Andy like a big time producer now or something?
Yup. NP: Sodom - Body Parts |
Isn't Andy like a big time producer now or something?
Yeah. He produced Enemy of God. |
Too bad they would only do shows in England.

I finally managed to forward my router ports, so pretty much everyone should be able to view my files, and if by chance that it doesn't work, I can send ye stuff on the messenger of yer choice (AIM, Yahoo, MSN). :thumb: |
You have a nice collection there. It's funny how I haven't been able to browse you ever (except for one time), then it suddenly worked a few seconds ago.
|
alright havent been here in awhile.
what do you guys think of tankards newest album? beast of bourbon (SP?) its my first time hearing this amazing band i love that cd. i just wish there was easier access to some of there cds, i checked all the stores and ive put in request at kerrazy-torrents but nothing. anyway, this is a amazing album and recomended to any thrash fan. another great newer album is violator-violent mosh. its only a ep but still 4 amazing songs on there also. |
I just got back from my little trip to Disneyland last night, so I was too ****ing tired to check the boards x_x.
However, I went back a couple of pages and noticed this whole Rick situation was true :upset: Right now, as I type, I'm listening to eXodus as my tribute not only to him, but to Tom, Rob, and especially Paul! It's just so sad to really see other people suffer like that because I guess I can really see where he's coming from about the "being there for his kids." For me, almost turning 18, I realize I shoul make decisions too, but hopefully I won't get stuck like that because he did contribute to the band's glory, but I really really really hope the band and him succeed. I really think (totally random) that being there for his kids at such a young age will make them a lot more confident and independent, because well, I feel like my parents kind of abandoned me more for my older sister. However, I survived and that's what really matters to me. However, Rick sounds like he's being a good man and a ****ing kickass dad. Maybe one day his kids will carry the metal torch he has carried for so long. On the other note, Mathias wanted to know what amp I had. I have a Peavey Triple XXX, and hot **** it sounds badass :) Other than that, Disneyland kicked ***. Got on all the rides (Space Mountain and Star Tours twice) and holy ****, they really really really really fixed Space Mountain to really go faster and the track layout changed. It's more unpredictable, and the drops are steeper than what I remember. It's more intense, which is good. I just decided to post this to tell Ryan. The other fixes they did to the ride here in Cali was the special effects, the hallways are enclosed now (so you can't see anything), the station is a darker, the gates are more space looking, they took out the Fed Ex robot (:upset:), and there's asteriods at the top the lift hill instead of the sun. The sound is a lot better too! The whole ride is in really total darkness, so it makes me give it 10 out of 10 :thumb: I'll probably back later, cus I haven't had anything to eat. Listen to eXodus <- needs to make a shirt that says that. |
Just got back from Hastings. I picked up Fabulous Disaster while I was there, I was going to buy Bonded by Blood aswell, but my friend saw it first. :(

x_x that sucks. Hopefully one day you two can trade off and you shall explore the enlightening glory created by such a good band. BbB is excellent now that I have listened to it so many times, and Fabulous Disaster is still really good, and I shouldn't compare them because then I'll get jumped here  |
I already have BbB on my computer, but its nice to own the original. Not to mention less illegal. It will probably be one of my next purchases.

Haha, yea, that happened to alot of folks, but like I said, I finally managed to forward my router ports (the reason alot of people got that error), so most people should be able to get at my files. If there're any files that ye want, just msg me, and I'll start the d/ls for ye. |
SODOM: 'Lords Of Depravity – Part I' DVD Due Next Month
Long-running German thrashers SODOM have set "Lords of Depravity - Part I" (view cover here http://sodomized.info/cdpics/tn_lords.jpg) as the title of their new DVD, due on September 19 via SPV. The first of two double-DVD sets will contain "the SODOM history from 1982 to 1995 and the concerts from Sofia, With Full Force, Wacken, Bang Your Head and Rock Hard festivals," according to SODOM mainman Thomas "Angelripper" Such. "Total play time of the double DVD will be at least five hours . . Nothing that could be interesting for you SODOM fans should be withheld. Highlight of the entire DVD are interviews with all, still living ex musicians. It was a real challenge for me to organize that all!" The follow-up DVD, "Lords of Depravity - Part II", "will be published at the beginning of 2006 and contain the history from 1996 to 2005 when there was no more lineup changes," stated Such. "You can barely imagine what you'll get to see and hear, because in this period a camera was always at hand. This double DVD will also have a play time of more than five hours." SODOM are scheduled to release their new studio album in January via SPV Records. A U.S. tour with FINNTROLL will kick off January 6 in Springfield, VA. |
hey guys check out my new song. its like a thrash/heavy metal song. what do you guys think?
www.myspace.com/alculbertson
Well, I just have to say that: -The link doesn't work but I typed in the browser's address bar and it worked. -Gases Majik has a bit of problems, more like the drums don't go well with the guitaring. Don't get me wrong, I liked the riffing a lot, sounded like Iron Maiden-ish thrash at the beginning. However, it's just that the drums didn't lock too well in. Think you could try messing around with the drumming a bit if you have the source file (that is, if you worked with it like sound editor or something...a recording software thingy)? |
Poltergiest - Behind My Mask, came in the mail today. It rules....and I got it for $5, which makes it even better

I have to say Ryan, there's still hope for you if that disc only costs $5. If Face could get something like that for that price, you can get classics for the same or nothing that'd be overkill. So is Wacken through and over? |
