I never knew that. I'm glad he did. Otherwise there'd be no Megadeth.

Lord Abortion 02-25-2006 11:45 AM

Exactly, there would be no TSHF...that would be a very very sad thing.

That would have been very upsetting. Its one of my favorite megadeth cds also.

pep 02-25-2006 11:57 AM

there would be gigantour, though.

I liked that album at first but it got a little boring for me :smoke:

How would there be?

Possibly, but Megadeth wouldnt be one of the headliners.

Leaving DT to have a bigger set?
:D

Thats always great, but I have yet to see Megadeth.

I seriously doubt that.

Bazarov 02-25-2006 08:03 PM

I kind wonder what Megadeth would have sounded like had Dimebag joined. I know Dave offered Dime a position, but he declined when Dave refused to let Vinnie drum. Though I doubt they'd make very good music, Dime and Dave play too different of styles.

Does anyone know why Poland left Megadeth after TSHF was released?

Apocalyptic Raids 02-25-2006 08:25 PM

He didn't officially join. Everyone on TSHF were session players.

Bazarov 02-25-2006 08:30 PM

Oh. Cool, now I know.

gillygan 02-25-2006 09:01 PM

Does anyone have the album in Cathedral's avatar?

So right now Im downloading Killing is my Buisness. What should I expect?

An amazing album. It's currently my favorite Megadeth album. It's got plenty of great songs, Looking Down the Cross, The Skull Beneath the Skin just to name a couple. The only bad song on that album is These Boots.

Similar to Kill 'Em All, but faster.

Lord Abortion 02-26-2006 08:24 AM

Rattlehead is my favourite on there, the opening riff is sublime.

Perfect description.

Every song has awesome riffs in it.

Jev 02-28-2006 10:24 AM

Don't let the Megadeth thread die :(!

Five Magics 02-28-2006 09:35 PM

anyone heard of the song "The Creed" from the MD.45 remaster, it should have been a 'deth tune

Jev 03-01-2006 01:45 AM

Yeah, I think a few MD.45 songs are good enough to be Megadeth songs.

When I first heard MD.45 I was like "wtf Dave can sing like this?" Then I realised it wasn't Dave singing.

Drone 03-01-2006 10:32 AM

I have actually never heard MD.45. I would like to, though.

Jev 03-01-2006 10:35 AM

MD.45 are kinda more punk than Megadeth. Still good though.

Lord Abortion 03-01-2006 12:37 PM

I thought the couple of songs I heard were OK

To your first question, I've been looking for the album as well so I can't :(

Second, KIMB is a cool album but it can get boring quite fast.

blue3 03-01-2006 09:37 PM

Killing Is My Business is a great album. It's not my favorite though.

Five Magics 03-01-2006 10:27 PM

I cant believe there is another line-up change. What is up with Mustaine? Only once Megadeth had a consistent line-up for more than 2 consecutive albums. Dave should just make an new album with three different musicians all the time. Megadeth must have the record for the most line-up changes....

I've heard 2 or 3... I don't remember the names, I just remember that it wasn't able to keep my battleship afloat.

I think Dave only cares about how well they play the music and get along with him seeing as he writes the majority of Megadeth's songs. it'd be lovely to see the RIP Megadeth back together though.

Butcher: You mean you didn't like them?
