General Patton Vs. The X-ecutioners
A mixture of crap and refreshing stuff. |
That pretty well sums up Mike Patton's career.

^^^
The good still outweighs the bad though... I've also been digging Dead Moon, which is pretty good band...I'm suprised NachoChez hasn't mentioned them yet. |
I've been digging Mercury Radio Theater - The Blue Eyed Model. Good stuff. I can't wait for their concert in about a month.

I had made a radio show for today, but the studio's malfunctioning. So now I'm listening to the show. My theme was melancholy.

You should've thrown a Death Cab track on there.

Pretty damn good after one listen. He's gone even further back to country music, which might be a good thing, depending. I think it'll be a grower too. |
I like his country-ish music more than any of the other genres he does. I'll be looking forward to it.
|
Yeah, I prefer the more country sounding albums too.

I like it more but the production on Heartbreaker is painful with the huge changes in volume for his vocals. I haven't heard Cold Roses yet. |

I'd agree with you on the production flaws but it's still my favourite of his records. Cold Roses falls very much in the same vein as Heartbreaker. |
I like Heartbreaker and Love is Hell as equal firsts.
