I suppose it's all based on need- most of the people i talk to have AIM or YIM, and few of my friends have MSN.

Does anyone else here have trouble downloading stuff from p2p programs/networks? I can connect, but I can't seem to actually download stuff anymore.

Exactly. The only bad thing about MSN is this new Beta version that's gonna come out soon. That one is bad. It's just really annoying, there's a thing called nudge on it, and if I press when i'm in a conversation with someone else, it will stop everything they are doing, and make that conversation window pop-up, and it all shakes and makes stupid noises. If that happened to me, I'd get so pissed off.

Which one do you use? Mine works fine, I use Limewire.

I'm sticking with MSN 6.2

Aquisition for macs. It connects to the Limewire networks, so I don't know whats up.
