Actually, abd, I'm not such a delusional asshole that I instantly deny that anyone can derive pleasure from doing things that are considered cliché. It's sad that you really can't just stop trying to be so élite and accept that things are cliché for a reason: a great deal of people can relate to them.

I'm pretty sure people think that people who spend time on a computer alone all day are unhappy is because humans are social animals and communicating over a medium isn't nearly as satisfying emotionally or mentally as real discourse. Anecdotal evidence suggests that people tend to retreat into seclusion when they are unhappy or dissatisfied with themselves either emotionally, physically or mentally.

If you did any real reading or living you'd know these things though.
