chuckles the silly piggy 09-28-2004 03:14 PM

metallica dont do crazy tuning except in st anger they made normal tuning heavy

hetfieldisalegend 09-28-2004 03:21 PM

ok, so what song to you recommend?

Hitroshimite 09-28-2004 03:32 PM
metallica dont do crazy tuning except in st anger they made normal tuning heavy
Not true.

1) 'The Thing That Should Not Be' is in one full step down.

2) Most of the (Re)Load material is in 1 half step down.

3) St. Anger is in Drop D Down 1 Full Step (CGCFAD)

SmashThePMRC 09-28-2004 03:33 PM
can you say..."poser"? Anyone who thinks Metallica sucks just because they cut their hair is a ****ing elitist faggot. And why say "they suck big cock" if at the end you say "oh but Enter Sandman was a cool song"..
i dont like you, i dont think they suck cuz they cut there hair, i think when they had hair they sounded better, make sense? if not make sense of it bitch

SmashThePMRC 09-28-2004 03:35 PM
If you hate metallica and metal, then why are you in this thread? People have heard the "oh **** metallica, they sold out and cut their hair" speech too much.
i came here cuz the punk thread has alot of close minded jackasses in there, i came here because i hate metallica, if its an official thread i should be able to say what i think about them, so there bizach

SmashThePMRC 09-28-2004 03:37 PM
Ah, finally found a computer! Anyway, I agree that St. Anger sucked. That CD was just too nu-metallish, and it sounded like they didn't put much effort into it. (And Lars didn't put too much effort in tuning his snare!)
perfectionist

LordDargon 09-28-2004 03:38 PM

SmashThePMRC 09-28-2004 07:59 PM
Don't you guys think lars would look funny with long hair though? Cuz he seems to have a receding hair line.....
Drum_and_Bass_Guy89 09-28-2004 08:03 PM

Kingofdudes 09-28-2004 08:04 PM

Lars looks retarded with both long and short hair so there you go.

Blanka Flip 09-28-2004 08:22 PM
Lars looks retarded with both long and short hair so there you go.
Lars had really nice hair during the recording of the Black Album and the tour supporting it... He had okay during the load/garage inc times, and now it's just awful. I think James is letting his go a little more... At least according to the latest pic i saw of him...

Kingofdudes 09-28-2004 08:28 PM

Last time I saw them live(in April) James' hair was super short.
