The Casualties are painfully bad.

coheneran 08-28-2006 07:04 PM

That's a great conversation Brad, somebody's getting a present tonight...

Liebensaft 08-28-2006 07:31 PM

Brad's lucky he did that with someone who was relieved when he said it was a joke. If it was me I'd have hunted him down and killed him for getting my hopes up.

SantaDuJuan 08-28-2006 08:20 PM

Aw shit, I didn't read it all and told this kid he did die.
And I just read that you guys were joking.

Flagjacket 08-28-2006 08:30 PM

Wow you're gullible.

I told a bunch of people I met 50 Cent.

I've seen PBF. There are some pretty funny ones.

Also, this is a late quote, but I was just saying "I like webcomics" because everyone else was having in-depth talk about particular comics, none of which I read.

I usually just check White Ninja every couple days.

SantaDuJuan 08-28-2006 08:41 PM

Dude, online comics are like second to porn.

obese_breasts 08-28-2006 08:47 PM

I bought the Beaver and Steve shirt the other day, it's totally sweet.

(r)evolution 08-28-2006 09:37 PM

back to the topic of the DaVinci code, I cant speak for the book, but if it was half as bad as the movie... all copies must be burned. That movies blew so much a'ss. The actual code wasn't even all that threatening or interesting. The only good part of that movie was when that crazy a'ss french guy killed that nun with a swift vulcan death grip, hilarious.

I want a Beaver and Steve shirt.

There is a bunch of webcomic shirts I want, but do not have the funds for.

I love the Perry Bible Fellowship!

http://www.pbfcomics.com/archive/PBF189-Keep_on_Truckin.png

Been listening to Joni Mitchell's Hits over night, am in a strange mood, and still listening to it.

sketchyjoe 08-29-2006 05:41 AM

I want an Overcompensatin It's On! shirt.

coheneran 08-29-2006 05:51 AM

I was gonna buy my sister a Hugs Not Jihads shirt, but then I realised that the shirt is insensitive if you don't know the source (ie. J-Ro) and likely to get someone beaten up by Muslim chavs, so I was gonna buy her the Catbank one, but realised she wouldn't get it, so I got her a CD instead. But I still want the Monkey Represents Sharing one.

sketchyjoe 08-29-2006 05:53 AM

Offensive? Offensively awesome!

xkcd is better

Henrik 08-29-2006 10:45 AM

Have any of you ever tried reading some Japanese Manga catoons?

I love them.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 08-29-2006 11:27 AM

The only comics I read on a regular basis are PBF, NN2S, Questionable Content, Cyanide and Happiness and SARC. I can't really get into Beaver and Steve. Same with another one everyone likes, but I can't think of it now.

asdf 08-29-2006 11:33 AM

NN2S, Questionable Content, Cyanide and Happiness, Dinosaur Comics, and a couple joural comics would be all I read. Occasionally my friend sends me things from other comics as well.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 08-29-2006 12:09 PM

So the other day, when I asked what Operation: Cliff Clavin sounds like, you guys forgot to mention: Awesome, and Real Good.

Are you high? There's no way xkcd can compare to PBF. xkcd is mildly diverting, with a few gems. PBF is 3/4 solid gold flights of surreal genious.

I like the nerdery of xkcd better then PBF's randomness. Plus I love the joke in the strip I posted. Random comics have started annoying me lately. I used to really like Toothpaste for Dinner and Cyanide and Happiness, but now they are just dull and stupid

sketchyjoe 08-29-2006 03:39 PM

Cyanide and Happiness can grate but PBF's sheer inventiveness is brilliant. I love the way it creates an entire fictional universe just for a stupid joke.
