The new Municipal Waste album is amazing. Here's a video from a song off the new album.

Wanna recommend me some more Crossover? :D

RCA 08-02-2005 11:54 AM

Crossover = loads of fun :thumb:

Terrorzone 08-02-2005 01:37 PM

Just got the Atheist box set. But now, I have to rumage in the attic for a record player.

Check out D.R.I. and Stormtroopers of Death if you haven't already. They're probably the most popular crossover bands.

Municipal Waste's stuff before this new album is a lot more raw, if you can, try to get Waste 'em All.

Have you heard Cryptic Slaughter? Convicted and Money Talks are great albums.

DBC's first album is most excellent as well... so is Universe, but they started to go very experimental with that. I still love that phone commercial they had a song on in Canada not too long ago.

RCA 08-02-2005 03:49 PM

Corporal, what do you think is better: Forward To Termination or Soldiers Of Misfortune?

Corporal Compendia 08-02-2005 04:19 PM

Forward To Termination. (Note: Soon to be re-released. Double disc. Fully Remastered. Hell yeah. ;) ) Can't match that intro... *Forward To Termination riffs play...* "TERMINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE!"
Though I can't knock Soldiers... it is a most triumphant album.

Anyone know much of Laaz Rockit? If yes, where the hell can you buy their albums from!? I've looked around but can't seem to find anywhere, anyone have any ideas?

metal-militia 08-02-2005 05:07 PM

Laaz Rockit are great! I've only ever seen thier albums on ebay before, and they are really expensive.

goonboy175 08-02-2005 05:12 PM

Yeah, thats a **** annoying. I managed to get a copy of their live album, "taste of rebellion" but other than that I can't find their albums anywhere, its a **** shame!

Shred Danson 08-02-2005 05:14 PM

I'm interested...never heard them...

Any uploads, metal-militia?

RCA 08-02-2005 05:56 PM

Laaz Rockit are awesome. Know Your Enemy is an insanely catchy album. :thumb:

I think YSI blocks direct links from public forums nowadays. That's why people put hxxp instead of http, so the person has to open a new window and put the link in instead of just clicking.

Indeed!

I love both albums, but FtT has that little speedburst known as "Pyrokinesis" that gives it the slight upper-hand.

Yep. For us So Cali. people, they said the ride needed a makeover because one time at my old school, they had this meeting with a tech from Disneyland who talked to us about why they were going to shut it down for about 2 years.

The track got old, and it was also a good chance to revamp the entire rollercoaster in TOTAL TOTAL ****ING DARKNESS!

No more bright sun. No more lights. Just the stars, and I heard it's badder, faster, and cool surf music by Dick Dale plays.

Althought Extreme Aggression would be sweet.

Better yet, I got a perfect song.

The Marshall Arts :D

I just can't wait till I ride it. For it being closed for two years, I can't wait to get on it when I go first thing on Thursday.

RCA: Enjoy three days of pure, tr00 metal (unlike here)

MAthiAS 08-02-2005 10:46 PM

I'm not much of a fan of rollercoasters in the dark, I don't know, they're smaller than the lighted ones. I've never been on Space Mountain though.

But that would be incredibly kickass RCA, if I ever go to Disney World/Land I'll bring a boombox :D

RCA 08-02-2005 10:51 PM

Ravenous: The Marshall Arts would be just as awesome! Stace's scream would start right as soon as you hit the first drop:

Me: O SHI
Speakers: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I'll have a good time. Thanks! :)

MAthiAS: Dude, you gotta go on that ride like 546356 times in a row. IT'S SO COOL!

MAthiAS 08-02-2005 10:53 PM

Yes, but I live $400 away from it :upset:

Least I got Kingda Ka ;)

NewKindofArmy03 08-02-2005 10:54 PM

Even though it never worked...

MAthiAS 08-02-2005 10:57 PM

Yeah I know, that's what sucks about it. I probably won't get to Great Adventure this year even, hopefully next year it'll be good. Last summer I waited for around 2 hours to get onto Superman front row, then the ride broke down. They couldn't move the seats out of 'flight position', they got firemen to bring the people down from the ride. Took another hour and a half, then the ride sucked balls when we finally got on it.

RCA 08-02-2005 10:57 PM
Even though it never worked...
Which ride?
