Firecracker 08-15-2006 12:35 PM

I would go to Circle Jerks for that much.

(r)evolution 08-15-2006 12:46 PM

yeah thats way worth going too, even though pennywise blows

Lazybassplr56 08-15-2006 12:50 PM
I know talent when I see it.

Pennywise and The Circle Jerks are coming to Philly. Is 18 bux not worth it? I've seen Pennywise before and they did play a fun live set. So would you go?
It's the fucking Circle Jerks, go. I saw them a year a two ago and they put on a hell of a show.

AIRIC 08-15-2006 12:55 PM

I've paid wayyyyy more for a circle jerk before anyway. That's relatively cheap.

If it's the same line-up as my date, Ignite is playing too. I'm trying to go. I'm just leaving before Pennywise.

Jersey's Best Dancer 08-15-2006 01:23 PM

If Ignite is there, I'm definently going. I dont think they will be tho because they are playing w/ Strike Anywhere here a couple weeks earlier. I hope they still will tho...

EDIT: Ignite is going to be there, I'm definently going.

Would you guys recommend any Dead Boys albums? I liked a couple of the songs I've heard, disliked a couple, and I'm not sure which to go out and buy. Or if someone feels like trading albums on AIM, I'm arsonmadeeasy.

Selah!

Anxious 08-15-2006 02:19 PM

Young Lound and Snotty

Derek Birkett, founding member of Flux of Pink Indians, heard my cover of their song "Footprints in the Snow" and told me that he liked it, and that it was odd to hear his lyrics sung back to him after all of these years or something along those lines. I think I'm going to record a better, fleshed-out version of it to properly pay him tribute.

Punx points +150.

AIRIC 08-16-2006 12:51 AM

That was really enjoyable even though I don't know the Flux song.

Anxious 08-16-2006 02:09 AM

My back makes me want to murder myself.

That's really awesome.

The closest thing I've had to something like that was when a guy who worked with the residents, snakefinger, and clubfoot orchestra was impressed with my knowledge of the residents at such a young age.

Anxious 08-16-2006 02:15 AM

you should have asked him who they were while you had a chance.

AIRIC 08-16-2006 02:18 AM

Us 3 are the lone survivors for the second night in a row. Sup guys?

Anxious 08-16-2006 02:21 AM

I drank an energy drink at work a few hours ago. It was called Ol Glory, and red white and blue embossed all over it. It had the pledge of alligence by the nutrition facts. It was the funfamniest cabonated beverage I've ever seen. I should have taken a pic so I could post it here.

AIRIC 08-16-2006 02:22 AM

I'm not really into energy drinks. I love Vault though. Its all I've drank all summer.

Anxious 08-16-2006 02:24 AM

Never heard of that one. Most energy drinks are expensive though.

AIRIC 08-16-2006 02:26 AM

Vault is a new coke product. It tastes exactly like Mountain Dew but I'm guessing has much more caffiene or sugar or something. It's 'saying' or whatever is "Drinks like a soda, kicks like an energy drink"

Either way it's delicious.

I wouldn't want to know. My brother is pretty sure he has it all figured out, though.

And vault sucks.

Anxious 08-16-2006 02:56 AM
I wouldn't want to know. My brother is pretty sure he has it all figured out, though.
both of those statements are very intresting.

In other news I am taking pictures of myself in the dark. Using the mac built in digital camera. great fun.

asdf 08-16-2006 03:04 AM

My brother thinks that at least two of the original residents have gone on with their lives without the band. One's in the real estate buisness.

That's what I hate about the residents. They'll never die, but they have such a crazy fanatical cult following, that no matter what crap the other people claiming to be the residents puts out, it will be bought and raved over.

I mean, I love the residents and all, but so much of their recent stuff (like, within the last 10 years or more) has been.. well.. awful.
