I've read Slaughterhouse V and Cat's Cradle so far and both were excellent. I think I just really dig his style.

Asdf: Why didn't you like Breakfast of Champions? Joe (sketchy) said it was his favorite from Vonnegut.
It just seemed to anticlimactic. The characters didn't much interest me either. I did like some of it, though. Vonnegut is my favorite author, and a lot of people love this book, but I just couldn't like it as much as I liked Slaughterhouse 5, Cat's Cradle, or Player Piano. I'll probably give it another try, though.
Did it involve writing some type of lyrics to a song?
No, more just bitching about this and that. |

Well thats good clean fun. |
What would you recommend after Breakfast of Champions? I think I'm gonna go for Galapagos, it seemed the most interesting.
|
I just finished galapagos. It's pretty good. It drags on for awhile, but it's basic idea is really interesting, and vonnegut is just the person to explain it.
|
I have to read Frankensten too. I'm excited.
|
I'm going to read Frankenstein sometime too.
I really loved Cat's Cradle. Bokonism was really interesting to read about. |
