That's called Piggy-backing. When I get a Garydos (sp), that's usually how I train my magic carp.

It's okay, but it wastes a turn. In the later games this is a terrible techinque because the move Persuit will **** it up.

I usually only do it until I get the EXP share, which I forget where I get that. Don't you get it from Oak's aide?

Just go back to the first town and go around and catch anything you haven't before. That way you just need a bunch of great balls and you can catch them in one move.

No, after it learns Thunderbolt evolve it. For time's sake.

It learns agility at level 33. Not worth doing, in my opinion. Thunder at 41, that'd take way to long. If you're absolutely positive you're going to use him, then just teach him thunder through TMs.

Raichu is fast enough not to need agility or anything.

Yeah, I just read that on Gamefaqs and that it would be a waste to train him until Thunder because he learns nothing good except for Thunder.

take into consideration that it takes longer to grow levels after evolution. i suggest you just get pikachu caught up to the rest of your pokemon, then evolve him.

Real trainers use Zapdos.

Zapdos:
Base Stats: HP 90/Attack 90/Defense 85/Speed 100/Sp Att 125/Sp Def 90

Raichu:
Base Stats: HP 60/Attack 90/Defense 55/Speed 100/Sp Att 90/Sp Def 80

Zapdos is literally equal or better than Raichu in every way. Just teach him Thunder through TMs.

Also consider that his base stats practically double after evolution.

I'm probably getting Pikachu to lvl 30-35 and then evolve him.

Zapdos would be the smartest way to go, but I want a bit of a challenge.

Well, they do some technical riffing, but it's all very melody based. When I think tech I think Between The Buried And Me and Into The Moat and stuff...bands that aren't known for melody.

Misery Signals is more about talented riffing. Tech is more about tech riffing. I think. Or something.
