terry chimes was one of the worst drummers. listen to every drum beat on the clash and tell me how many fills you hear. theres a picture of them all posing and hes trying to look tough. its funny coz he looks like joes dad or something. can i ask a question? whats so great about the pistols anyway? i thought "bollocks" was very boring. mick jones is quoted in Westway saying that if the pistols had kept going then the clash would never have been able to catch up. i disagree with that, jonesy

I agree. Chimes= crappy drummer.

And as for the Pistols, they weren't so great. I don't agree with what Mick said either about them, because the Clash were 100 times the band that the Pistols were.

we listened to the clash today in english. it was great. then my teacher borrowed my "essential clash" cds. he's possibly the best teacher ive ever had.

my english teacher gave me an article about the clash and one about the ramones today.it's awesome.he called me to his desk and told me he had a surprise.so i didnt do boring grammar, he let me read :D he's so awesome

i wish i had a cool english teacher,,but in my english clash we had to write a topic on what makes a leader or hero, and i did mine on joe strummer,it was cool got a 100

we did something like that last year on a legend.i did it on joe strummer and it was called clash city rocker.my teacher loved it.cause everybody loves joe strummer.
