I hate FATA so much. I saw them with ETID live once and they were like DEAD onstage. Horrible stage presence and the drummer's voice is sooooo annoying.
Dude, every show with them is the same. Guitarists stand still with one foot up on a moniter. Singer just crouches down a lot and then spends 5 minutes catching his breath due to his weight problem. Blah Blah...ETID put on a good show though.

syrUsbilt 08-16-2004 10:00 PM

ETID are great live. One of the few metalcore bands I like. They have great stage presence. When FATA played like the fat singer walked around in a circle and went "rawr rawr" . It sucked. haha when ETID was on stage they said "be sure to stick around...from autumn to ashes is coming on next" and some guy went "whaa whaa whaaa" (like the noise for dissapointment on cartoons). It was hilarious.
Edit: DimeStore Hoods is a Link 80 song, silly!
...and you're telling me this after you originally (in that post) acknowledged the fact that Dimestore Hoods were a non-hardcore band why?

PoisonParadox 08-17-2004 01:00 AM

I've never even heard of this band until I figured out what you said in your post

Icefire1 08-17-2004 10:16 AM

Don“t laugh at me :(
Can somebody explain what slamdance, wall of death, circle pit and so on are?
I found theese somewhere else in a forum in association with hardcore.
thx

A-Life-Less-Plagued 08-17-2004 12:57 PM

I never knew Sick Of It All used to be on a major. Weird.

shane italian 08-17-2004 02:43 PM

Sworn Enemy are on Elektra.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 08-17-2004 02:57 PM

I guess a lot of bands that wouldn't seem to be on majors are, but just dont have big promotion deals and whatnot.

BuddyBigsby 08-17-2004 05:10 PM
Best metalcore band live = Dillinger Escape Plan but ETID is second best.
DEP, ETID, Zao, and Misery Signals.

October 19th Los Angeles, CA - El Rey Theatre

3 of my favorite bands and one that should be a favorite. God yes.

BuddyBigsby 08-17-2004 05:11 PM
Sworn Enemy are on Elektra.
I'm pretty sure they were just trying to get their own Hatebreed, which ultimately failed.
I'm pretty sure they were just trying to get their own Hatebreed, which ultimately failed.
Sworn Enemy > Hatebreed on all levels.

Does anyone know if Good Clean Fun has a website?

A-Life-Less-Plagued 08-17-2004 08:47 PM
Does anyone know if Good Clean Fun has a website?
Yes. Yes they do.

Let's Chop Cats! 08-17-2004 08:47 PM

They do, google it. Should be the first link.

AndHagan1 08-17-2004 09:12 PM

I did. The first link I got was for tooth brushes. Anyone give me a link I would love them for life.

syrUsbilt 08-17-2004 09:17 PM

http://gcf.phyte.com

I found it in about 2 seconds. How lazy do you get?

AndHagan1 08-17-2004 09:18 PM

Thank you, I actually tried a few times. But all I ever found was a punk rock label that wasn't what I was looking for and outdoor fun stuff.

syrUsbilt 08-17-2004 09:22 PM

what i typed.

"good clean fun official site"
then
"good clean fun hardcore"

I can't remember which one got the result but c'mon...that was too easy.

AndHagan1 08-17-2004 09:24 PM

Your right, I'm a bumbaling moron, but thank you anyways.

Let's Chop Cats! 08-17-2004 10:03 PM

All You have to type in is Good Clean Fun and it's the first site.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 08-17-2004 10:29 PM

Someone give me some bands similar to Count Me Out. Because they rule.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 08-17-2004 10:31 PM

iHATEgc, I'm looking in your general direction...

syrUsbilt 08-17-2004 10:40 PM
Someone give me some bands similar to Count Me Out. Because they rule.
Man Count Me Out was sweet. I was at their last show (they are from my city) with Dead Serious. If you don't already listen to Bane you should definitely listen to them as a song of theirs is CMO's namesake. Erm. Chain of Strength is a more old school band that sort of sounds like CMO. CMO really did have a unique sound. A newer richmond band that sound sort of like them are Murder Weapon.

"I'm screaming words
Three words that reflect my life"

syrUsbilt 08-17-2004 10:45 PM

Chain of Strength was t3h s|-|1t. I want to get a shirt but they are excessively rare and usually go for like 30 or 40 bucks.

shane italian 08-17-2004 10:48 PM

Judge > Mental > Chain Of Strength

I'm sorry :upset:

syrUsbilt 08-17-2004 10:55 PM

ermmmmmmmmmmmmm. no. More like

Judge > Chain of Strength > Mental

Mental only gets last place because they are still together, and therefore not a legend yet. I just saw them at the beach like 4 weeks ago.

PoisonParadox 08-17-2004 11:22 PM

Aren't they a pop-punk band? AND metrosexual?

shane italian 08-17-2004 11:30 PM
Aren't they a pop-punk band? AND metrosexual?
They are actually good.

BuddyBigsby 08-17-2004 11:39 PM

When they say,
I've watched them break
It happens to the best of us
They meant the ones before
With empty words and empty thought
I'm gonna make something more
Of myself than contradiction
That's what you've been waiting for
Well you can f'ucking wait
When we break every standard that you set
In our way
What have you got next?
What did you expect from us?
There's certain things that even time can't change
There's certain things that even time can't change
