gonna go against the flow here. embryonic has some great tracks but is serious overkill. it might just be that i'm a short album kind of guy but a 70-minute album isn't appealing, especially considering that album. Lot of great songs but a ton of incoherent stuff that could have either been rearranged or left out.

i've been diggin:
come - gently down the stream and don't ask don't tell
you should get into this band if you like any kind of noise/pop at all

coachwhips - bangers vs. ****ers, classic garage punk album

rasco - time waits for no man. just downloaded this a couple of weeks ago, great east coast rap.

Avatar is their best, Blue Cathedral is better to start with if you want heavy stuff - basically get both

Correction 10-21-2009 05:39 AM

tv on the radio

cbmartinez 10-21-2009 07:07 AM

word im gonna get avatar, i remember other people saying they dug that one, comets has the six organs guy right

pixiesfanyo 10-21-2009 10:25 AM

just on avatar and blue cathedral.

blue cathedral is one of my favorite records ever.

Kyle 10-21-2009 11:13 AM

Former Ghosts - Fleurs

Been so excited for this record, and it's pretty great so far. Probably the best thing Jamie Stewart's done for a couple of years, actually.

That's fine if you prefer short albums but isn't Embryonic a double album? So in a sense it's really two albums. If you like it aside from the length maybe you'd enjoy it more one half at a time.

breezyyy 10-21-2009 11:55 AM

Meat puppets smashing pumpkins and red hot chili peppers >=[

YDload 10-21-2009 05:24 PM
