yeah i didn't really bother recommending any BM, because i don't think he'd like the kvlt stuff and i don't really listen to much besides that
looking for stuff similar to:
For the Fallen Dreams Straight Reads the Line Protest the Hero (please no Between the buried and me, i love already :P) |
what would you recommend to someone who likes dillinger escape plan (especially, not not exclusively with dimitri), agoraphobic nosebleed, converge, cannibal corpse, mastadon, cephalic carnage, meshuggah, and pig destroyer?
p.s. also goatwhore and soilent green if you have ever heard of them, they are local bands
The band Yog is almost a direct ripoff of dimitri-era Dillinger. Now I know a ripoff band typically sounds poopty but they're really good and I highly recommend you check them out they're like if that lineup has continued and made more music. Also, I recommend you get the album Cuddlemonster by Sawtooth Grin. I think you would dig them immensely. You've got good tastes brohan (minus the Meshuggah...). Which reminds me if you may also like the band Xerath check them out too they have some Meshuggah elements in the riffing but they're not completely tasteless |
Looking for some slam/brutal death recs.
Something Similiar to Dying Fetus or Cryptopsy |

barely any of those are brutal and none of them are slam neither is cryptopsy or dying fetus |
barely any of those are brutal and none of them are slam neither is cryptopsy or dying fetus
yeah they're brutal. |
not really
I didn't say they were slam, anyway. how are those not brutal?
because compared to bands that are actually brutal they sound like pansies
first and only warning: don't argue or nitpick in here. anthracks, even if they aren't 'slam' or whatever he listed two bands and you can easily go from there.
im not arguing with anyone im just specifying that those bands aren't very brutal nor are they slam
once again never said they were slam.
Actually anthracks can you rec me some more brutal stuff then?
deeds of flesh
cool thanks, i'll check em out.
