Better one for you.

Coming up for the final exams and one of the guys asks the valid question of, "What happens if we are sick and cannot write an exam?"

A smart *** in the class chirps up, "What happens if we can't write becasue we are suffering from sexual exhaustion?"

Quick as a flash the teacher shoots back, "You will just have to write with your other hand then"

Needless to say the guy got pawned in the worst way possible.

My friends used to be some of the biggest shit disturbers. They were dedicated to making certain teachers' lives a living hell.

Another thing they would do is always yell out "I shit my pants!" in the middle of class. Eventually they all got separated from sitting near each other, four people, one had to sit in each corner of the room so they'd be as far from each other as possible. Because of this, they'd orchestrate ways to cause trouble before class, so starting at one corner, each of them would get one word to yell out: I, Shit, My, Pants. So that would be shouted out in sequence, each word coming from a different corner of the class.

Fantastic. :p

If it gets any livelier in here a funeral's gonna break out.
This one time a couple years ago when two of my friends were in science class, the teacher asks a question about some element on the periodic table.

Friend 1: *whispering to Friend 2* "Say semen say semen."
*Friend 2 raises his hand*
Teacher: "Yes?"
Friend 2: "Semen?"
Teacher: "Office. Now."

I larfed at that.

FunkMetalBass 09-29-2006 03:21 PM

I'm thinking about building an EUB out of pine.

Spaceman Spiff 09-29-2006 03:24 PM

I don't any of the necessary skills or tools required to build an instrument, so I have no interest in doing it.

FunkMetalBass 09-29-2006 03:30 PM

I'm literally thinking of just using a 6 foot long 2x4 piece of pine, some more scrap pine for the fingerboard (epoxied, of course), and then buying a tailpiece and whatnot.

Should cost me about $10.

FunkMetalBass 09-29-2006 03:33 PM

DANGIT!

9 Days left to get my ratio from .072 to .25....it's not working!

Nobody is downloading from me.

Boo.

When you go on there, just click on the "Browse" link, which brings up all the most recent uploads. Find stuff there that will either get lots of downloads, or already is, download and seed.

FunkMetalBass 09-29-2006 03:39 PM

Even if there are already 2314 seeders?

Spaceman Spiff 09-29-2006 03:41 PM

Probably not.

FunkMetalBass 09-29-2006 03:44 PM

Okay. There's one here that has 40 leechers, but then it also has 2261 seeders. :upset:

Only things with decent amount of leeching power are the files that are upwards of 5GB.

Sounds brilliant.

I am keen to see pictures of how nicely it burns in the fireplace.

Spaceman Spiff 09-29-2006 03:53 PM

Okay, I just noticed another problem of yours. You aren't clever. Clever means how connectable you are. If you're clever, then more people can connect to you when you're seeding something, if not, then they won't and it won't matter if you're seeding, people just won't be getting it from you.

I'd recommend downloading UTorrent, there's this whole port forwarding thing you do, there are guides online, but you will become clever (connectable) and anyone will be able to connect to you and download from you.

For a moment I thought you were directing that at me. :amaze:

Then I read the rest. :thumb:

Jimbobntnr 09-29-2006 04:10 PM

that seems like a huge pain. It must be worth it somehow?

Are you on a private tracker site?
that seems like a huge pain. It must be worth it somehow?
It took me probably half an hour to an hour to get it all set up because I had no clue what I was doing, just following the instructions and guessing. I eventually got it all working, and it's worth it if you're in danger of being banned and not allowed back.

You've got to upload a certain percentage of how much you download, the ratio is a download to upload (or the other way around?) ratio.

I've downloaded 8.25GB.
I've uploaded 10.03GB.
My ratio is 1.216.

BenJammin 09-29-2006 05:19 PM

So.

I went to Steve's. It was immense.

I almost bought a MIA Fender Jazz for $749 (CAD), but I didn't because the instrument just didn't completely win me. I also saw an amazing custom 6 string Spector with a lush spalted maple top for $2500, a bunch of Yamahas, Fenders, Schecters, Peavey, etc., etc.

So I didn't buy a bass. :upset:

Better than spending your money on something you don't want.

What stuff did you try out there?

Being bored, I came home for the weekend from university and there is nothing to do.

fair enough.

Have you heard "We are your friends" by Justice vs Simian? It's immense.
Nice one Jamie, sounds like tenacious D. No bass or drums though??

Spaceman Spiff 09-29-2006 05:49 PM

I just listened to the new Sparta album, Threes. It was alright, not great, some songs were definitely better than others, but I need to give it some more time before I really judge it.
