sting-ray 06-29-2005 12:10 AM

go to your UserCP which can be accessed via the tab at the top of the page or the pull-down list at the bottom. From there on the left hand side there will be a list of User actions. Select "Edit Avatar". From there you can either choose one from the gallery or upload one of your own if you scroll down the page.

LifesGreatGuy 06-29-2005 12:12 AM

thanks

LifesGreatGuy 06-29-2005 12:17 AM

sting-ray 06-29-2005 12:31 AM

from any perticular band ?

if it's rather general post it in the Beginner Guitar forum... we try to keep this thread as neat as possible :)

LifesGreatGuy 06-29-2005 12:41 AM

beginner guitar im not a beginner alot of these pop punk songs are easy well all of it is really i just like playing it

sting-ray 06-29-2005 12:44 AM

well if it has to do with pop-punk then you can make a separate thread.

Twat is trying to start another argument. Also see the post on the previous page.

If I did this I'd be banned, so please be fair.

Angry Balled Fists! 06-30-2005 01:35 PM

Haha, i love you two bitching and arguing at each other.

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 01:36 PM

He is clearly trying to start. If he was here ages ago, that kind of thing happened a lot, and no one took it as seriously as he does. He needs to lighten up.

what, are you joking? You're unbeliveable, if you get into a pop-punk of the month voting stage through asking to be nominated then what does that prove, it just defeats the whole point of the thread.

I'd say the same thing to anyone if they had done that, it just happened to be you.

F'ucking hell

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 02:03 PM

I didn't even ask to be nominated.

Excursions 06-30-2005 02:08 PM

James my son, calm yourself. And Ganon your avatar is scary and annoying at the same time.

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 02:09 PM

Who are you?

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 06-30-2005 02:10 PM

Really, i'm not wound up, this guy really does come out with some inspired arguments and suggestions though. What's your other account by the way?
I never get nominated.

Gangsters nominate me.

Rissa, if you post more over the next month, I will nominate you next time :)
That's pretty conclusive proof, when put into context. Saying posting more will earn nomination does not constitue posting well.

That's all i've got to say on the matter to be honest

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 02:13 PM

OK, the gangsters comment was asking for nominations, but seeing as none of them nominated me, it is pretty harmless.

And the whole thing was better before straight faced kids such as yourself came and slapped rules and detalied nominations on the tradition.

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 06-30-2005 02:17 PM

I didn't make the rules, but if i did i'd probably make you miss the next couple of months maybe, and before you say anything, no not just because it's you.

I suppose you enjoyed it more when you were able to get people to vote for you for no reason. This system is hugley better as it allows sensible votes to be counted, and people are not included for the wrong reasons. Or no reason.

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 02:19 PM

Rissa put forward her reasons. Just because you have a personal vendetta aginst me dosen't make me a bad poster.

I mean, I even agreed with your nomination, I mean, you come in here, tell everyone that they're wrong and that your defenition of pop-punk is right, and for that, they love you.

Marvellous.

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 06-30-2005 02:26 PM

I don't have a personal vendetta with you. I don't like you, but ypu can drop the paranoia act and think i'm out to get you. Rissa would have no idea how well you post in here, as they don't post in here. The nomination was based on pit posting or something.

I suppose i get nominated for educating. Hmm, life's a bitch isn't it?!

End of.

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 02:27 PM

Rissa probably reads here a lot.

She used to be a very regular poster here......so I thiknk she knows what she's on about.

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 06-30-2005 02:29 PM

Well, we can't tell. she may read alot, but it's a bit of a coincidence she nominated you after you begged it isn't it? Do you even see the pointlessness of it?

It's like i'm talking to a brick wall to be quite frank, you don't see to take anything in

Ganondorf 06-30-2005 02:39 PM

I didn't beg, I just asked. I didn't specifically ask her, she just recognized that people like you unjustifiably get nominated over people who actually contribute to the community and don't just put people down all the imte because they're not 'punk'.

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 06-30-2005 02:47 PM

right, brilliant reasoning. You specifically asked that someone should nominate you for no apparent reasoning. Your need to fell appreciated on the internet is worrying.

I contribute far more to this forum than you, and that's why i've been nominated. I don't have a go at people when it's unjustified, but i'm not going to let stupid or incorrect posts to go un-highlighted. If that's too much to take, tough.

sting-ray 06-30-2005 06:09 PM

that's quite enough... this is truly a silly argument.. Let's not escalate things.

Kif 07-01-2005 11:02 AM

OK, this is to the mods of the forums. I've just made a little riddle which I'll post in a minute, and I was wondering if you would be so kind as to give the winner of it rep points. I think it's fairly hard, although not too hard for the forum. Anyway, I think that would appeal a lot more and give more participation to the thread.

Thanks in advance if you want :)

Kif 07-01-2005 11:27 AM

OK, I've been seeing how this "riddle" is going and it looks like it's getting solved pretty quickly. Maybe no rep this time, but if I end up making another I will make it longer with more songs to find

sting-ray 07-01-2005 05:24 PM

ok, so do you want us to simply give rep or ask Jim to give a certain amount?

Kif 07-01-2005 05:31 PM

I'm not sure really. I mean, I think the winner of specific competitions deserves more than a round of applause from strangers on an Internet forum, so I guess it can wait until this one has finished and I have written the "real" riddle.

sting-ray 07-01-2005 05:35 PM

ok sure
