MORE! It's awesome. I've been absorbing this album for months now, I feel it's time for more. It's always time for more when I start listening to L7 again.
I want some more Phil Ochs albums. Anyone got any? I'll send them out on the mailing list as well. I have I Ain't Marching Anymore.
I have 2 if you have AIM.

coheneran 08-07-2006 02:22 PM

Could you zip and email them to me? I'll be ever so grateful, and will email you something back if you happen to want anything that I have.

Iron Bug 08-07-2006 02:26 PM

coheneran 08-07-2006 04:39 PM

Name this song and/or band:

"Hold me naked if you will
In your arms in your legs in your pussy I'd kill
To be with you, to kiss with you, I do miss you
I love you."

Nick, is it true Santa Cruz is the most liberal town in Califrajifornia?
Hardly. It's full of a bunch of old hippies, so it's pretty liberal, but I doubt it's the most liberal. Berekely is probably moreso. SF too. The Bay Area in general is the most liberal part of California, and depending on who you ask, Santa Cruz is in the Bay Area.
I would say most towns that are closer to Oregun are more liberal. Like Eureka.

Hm. I didn't like those bridges.
North is where the rednecks live. I'm not sure about Eurkea, but a lot of areas up there are filled with rightwing christian rednecks.

And I like our bridges, I don't like the fact that toll is $3 and it's raising again because Caltrans sucks.

Anxious 08-07-2006 05:53 PM

Eureka is really liberal, filled with old Hippies like Santa Cruz. Theres alot of coffee shops, organtic food stores, people in tie-dyed shirts and the coolest fucking record store I've ever been too. I like it there. But it is surrounded by redneck towns.

coheneran 08-07-2006 06:03 PM

URRR! It was the Chili Peppers - Sir Psycho Sexy. Next:

"Descending waves of graceful pleasure
For your love there is no measure
Her curves they bend with subtle splendor"

AIRIC 08-07-2006 07:52 PM

Eran shutup.

Interesting. I never spent much time up there, just went through it on my way to Oregon.

They do have the same area code as me. It's weird, since they are so far north.

This place is SLOW.

Anxious 08-08-2006 02:09 PM

back in the day, i would go to sleep and this thread went through 15 pages when I woke up.

AIRIC 08-08-2006 02:10 PM

Yeah it sucks that it's so slow now. Ofcourse you can reread the thread pretty easily now.

asdf 08-08-2006 02:14 PM

Without the pit, everything slowed down. Sorry, "General Discussion."

Today and yesterday I've been cleaning up my basement. It's disgusting. I found way more moldy pizza cheese than I ever really needed to see.
