Spaceman Spiff 03-23-2005 11:05 PM

I've had this project for 5 or 6 weeks, and here I am doing the whole the the night before it's due.

cliffburtonrules 03-23-2005 11:07 PM

Not just projects either.

I'm sitting here looking at two assignments: an entire Chapter in my Science book
and a History Study Guide.

I've had time to do both............. but I'm gonna be up for a while just finishing them.

Spaceman Spiff 03-23-2005 11:11 PM

Now that my report is done, I get to make research notes, which, for any normal person, would have been made prior to writing the paper. :p

cliffburtonrules 03-23-2005 11:12 PM

Hahaha, I've made up so much stuff about projects.

80,805th post in thread!!

BeastontheBass 03-23-2005 11:14 PM

ya making up stuff is fun. ive learned that it works alot better when its a project based on opinion and not fact though.

Good point.

I like stuff that I have to write my opinion on. Like I kick *** on creative writing assignments. But if I have to write like a factual paper.............. forget about it.

FlamingCouch 03-23-2005 11:17 PM

Well that's certain, with fact it has to be actual things and whatnot.

FlamingCouch 03-23-2005 11:18 PM

I like papers where I can choose my own topic, or it's something that really interests me. If I can get into it, chances are it'll be done faster.

Yman 03-23-2005 11:19 PM

i pretty much hate papers in general. we should have like discussions or something instead. VIVA LA REVOLUTION

PaulSimonon 03-23-2005 11:20 PM

I think that it is the most fun to make things up in a research paper myself. Just something totally random. Say, on a certain medicine "According to research at Yale University, 9 out of 10 wildebeasts subjected to testing on this drug did not survive. The other was accidently fed placebos." Stuff like that.

cliffburtonrules 03-23-2005 11:22 PM

Did you know that 95% of all statistics are made up?..................................

PaulSimonon 03-23-2005 11:23 PM

Did you know that 95% of my ass is made fo corn puffs?

cliffburtonrules 03-23-2005 11:24 PM

In case you didn't catch it my last post was a joke...........................

Get it?

FlamingCouch 03-23-2005 11:25 PM

One time, in the same grade 10 french class I wrote about before, two of my friends made up their whole essay and presentation during the class it was due. Some of their classic lines during the presentation were talking about how the Romans played instruments that were not played (or invented, I can't remember which it was) during their time and dates that were connected to the Renaissance period of history, and not the Roman empire. Actually, I believe they were discussing mandolins and steel-string acoustic guitars when they talked of instruments of the Roman empire, and they made that up after I made a presentation on the history of the electric and acoustic guitar and bass guitar. The best part? Our teacher passed them both with a 55, not because of their facts (lack of), but because of the creative writing and improvisation that they displayed.

cliffburtonrules 03-23-2005 11:34 PM

*cheesy announcer voice*

Speaking of which in my Drama class, we had to do a 30 minute game show. Our group did the Newlywed game and we were the only ones that actually made the time limit without being **** boring. I was the host and I did the *cheesy announcer voice*

Spaceman Spiff 03-23-2005 11:36 PM

I also need to study for an anthropology test that I have tomorrow, first period.
The only bad part about leaving things to the last minute is when stuff piles up.

I miss my Drama class now.

Spaceman Spiff 03-23-2005 11:39 PM

I'm listening to Jaco while working, it's good working music.

cliffburtonrules 03-23-2005 11:40 PM

Mine was a cheap Jr. High class.

Lasted only one trimester.

For those who are not bright a trimester is like a semester but it is 1/3 of a school year instead of 1/2.

Spaceman Spiff 03-23-2005 11:40 PM

Drama is lots of fun.
I've taken it in grades 9 and 10, and currently in grade 11, and will in grade 12.
