No, I'm serious. You don't smoke a pack of joints a day.

RetiredAt21 07-29-2006 07:49 PM

That's alot of joints.

Danger Bird 07-29-2006 08:37 PM
That's alot of joints.
It's approximately 2 joints in the morning, 2 at nite, 2 in the afternoon, and 2 when it makes you feel alright.

Jessizzle 07-29-2006 08:41 PM

I Smoke Two Joints Before I Smoke Two Joints, Then I Smoke Two More

Danger Bird 07-29-2006 08:45 PM

DUH-nuh nuh!

Jessizzle 07-29-2006 08:46 PM

I smoke two joints in time of peace, and two in time of war!

edit: or is it backwords?

Danger Bird 07-29-2006 08:48 PM

Yeah, you fucked it up, nice job.

I had a fat-ass joint yesterday. It kicked ass.

Glitterati 07-29-2006 09:28 PM

I haven't had one in over a month :upset:

AIRIC 07-29-2006 10:39 PM

I was gonna buy a sack tonight but it's been tough times around here.

Rise Me Up 07-29-2006 11:02 PM

I thought I had weed tonight. :(

My aunt sent me some stuff in the mail for my b-day and i opened tonight in the car and it was dark and I was with my parents and all I saw was a pot leaf and 10 Ways To Know You're way too stoned, so I went ahead and opened it and there was a little bag in it of what I thought was weed so I was all excited and I got home and read the card and the last 'way to know you're way too stoned' was 'you smoke this bag of oregano'. :upset:

Jersey's Best Dancer 07-29-2006 11:22 PM

Just got back from Lagwagon/Lawrence Arms/A Wilhelm Scream. It was pretty good. Each band played tight as hell and were fun to watch, but the crowd sucked ass. I've never seen a bigger group of douchebags at a show before, but i did my best to still enjoy it. And I did... Also got to meet and talk to Brenden Kelly for a few seconds.

Rise Me Up 07-29-2006 11:28 PM

Why was the crowd so bad?

Jersey's Best Dancer 07-29-2006 11:30 PM

Everyone was a fkin asshole, and just wanted to hurt ppl in the pit. There was no friendship or unity from anyone. IDK how many times somebody fell down and no one helped him and ppl just kept knocking the person down. It seemed like it was all the pop-punk kids who go to two shows a year and think they are the pit boss or some shit. It was weird..

Oh yea, sucks about the fake weed gift haha

Rise Me Up 07-29-2006 11:34 PM

Oh I see what you mean. And yeah haha.

POINTLESS5448 07-29-2006 11:35 PM

im going to that show in a couple of days. im probably going to have the same thing happen to me that happened to you. the kids around here suck.

ps: im 17 now yay!

Rise Me Up 07-29-2006 11:36 PM

FloggingMurphy, do you have a myspace?

Danger Bird 07-30-2006 01:58 AM

I defy all the punx to watch Year of the Horse or Weld and tell me they don't like Neil Young.

justanotherbastard 07-30-2006 04:59 AM

TakeWarning 07-30-2006 05:32 AM

Flagjacket 07-30-2006 08:43 AM

Yeah dude, you went to the Michigan show too?

Did you see Rise Against? They were pretty awesome, too bad they played like 4 songs from siren songs. Oh well, they played heaven knows, chamber the cartridge and like the angels and I almost had a heart attack from the excitement. It was so hot too, I felt like I was gonna throw up the whole time I was in the pit.

Protest the Hero was also amazing, too bad my friends wanted to leave before I got a chance to catch Against Me!.

I met Kevin at Warped.

he's secretly a wuss who gets "tired" and "dehydrated" during shows.

Last night I went to an insane car show that went from 5 PM to Midnight at a hotel. It was the type of car show that attracts that tattoo covered, pompadour-sporting rockabillys and psychobillys. The car show was outside in a hotel parking lot, the vendors (what I was) were inside in a tiny ballroom, with the two wet bars and the band. Said bands played about 4 feet away from our table. It was really ****ing loud, needless to say, when the bands started playing, we stopped selling.

These three bands played:
Moonshine: http://www.myspace.com/moonshine32
Who were pretty decent. Their lead singer had a 40 of Corona that was nearly gone and it was obvious he was drunk. Their bassist was really fun to watch and sung a lot better then the lead singer. They covered Folsom Prison Blues and did a decent job

1/4 Mile Comb: http://www.myspace.com/quartermilecombo
The band was really good, the guitarist was very Luther Perkins sounding, but the singer really ****ing sucked. About this time is when all the people from outside were heading in, so there was some dancing and more drunk people.

The Pendletons: http://www.myspace.com/thependletons
They were decent, but their second guitarist/singer was really bad and all of their mics were turned up too loud. And when the second guitarist/singer started playing harmonica, I thought some glass was going to break. They kind of had a Beatle-ish sound going for awhile, and even covered One After 909. But at 11 after being up there since 4:30-5:00 and being in front of those loud-*** bands all the day, the last thing you really want to hear is really loud music and be surronded by drunks.

We packed our stuff while they played and left at a little after midnight.

The hotel was absolutely trashed. I doubt they will be having them back next year unless they made a whole lot of money on beer sales. I'd do the show again, but bring earplugs and hope not to be stuck in too tiny of a room next to a really loud band.
