A lot of Murphy's stand-up is pretty dated, I mean...the purple leather jumpsuit says it all.

The Door Mouse 10-10-2007 09:27 PM

My cousin has a recording of a stand-up act on vynil. We listened to it. Pretty good.

Angmar 10-10-2007 09:59 PM

My bad, when it said theatrical release I was under the assumption they were going to whore it out and make a huge deal out of it. My mistake. v_v

Thanks again for the corrections on the review.

Tyler 10-10-2007 10:00 PM

Ugh, I have a terrible tooth ache :( It's so bad I seriously don't know if I am going to be able to get to sleep easily, and I took advil 2 hours ago.

Kage 10-10-2007 11:26 PM

I'm really starting to stress out over this one class I have. I don't know if I can cut it with the reading. There are two open-ended five-page essays due in a week over books that I can't really get my head around, a quiz on that same day, the week after a midterm exam over another book I can't get my head around, and group presentations the following week.

Tyler 10-10-2007 11:27 PM

I know the feeling, I'm way behind in all my readings. There's too much.

Kage 10-10-2007 11:31 PM

This has been the shittiest week. I'm underslept, underfed and overworked. On top of that, I failed in going after a girl that I liked for many reasons, one of which pisses me off, the others of which being inevitable due to my severe incompetence with women.

Also the well of ideas for my film projects is dry.

Tyler 10-10-2007 11:33 PM

I actually know that feeling too.

I'm so overwhelmed with work that I'm basically ignoring it, even though I know that's bad. I think I'll probably drop my elective and focus on four courses instead of 5 and make the extra one up later.

With the broads, I'm just totally oblivious as to how I can initiate a non-friend situation, y'know?

And in regards to the underslept thing, well, I'm just an idiot. I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I should watch a movie, even though I'm well aware of the time (1:33AM).

Permanent Solution 10-10-2007 11:36 PM

School isn't that bad you jsut need to adjust to it and sacrifice a lot of free time/learn time management :)

Honestly, I'm just going through my usual "dont give a ****" phase. I get it every year or so.

i am the robots 10-10-2007 11:43 PM

So me and my buddy have decided we're definitely gonna start working on co-writing a fantasy book.

I'm excited to work on this.

It is hard work that you have to stay motivated for. Trust me, I have a half-done novel and two short stories on the back burner that I always aim to get around to finishing sometime, but never do.

I think once Uni is over I shall.

Don't worry mate, you'll pull through it. I know how you feel in all cases, including the girl situation. And if the girl situation has been exacerbated through her going off with another guy then, yeah, I have been there also. Just remember all the corny platitudes that you can, because it will get better.

EDIT: I merged my posts against my better judgement, cos Stephanie looks awesome dancing in sync with herself.

antihippy 10-11-2007 01:33 AM

Yeah, it's always been the amount of work that's pushed me away, but now that I'm working on it with this kid, it's perfect. he and I share very common interests, and I seem to be somewhat of the story teller, and I really do enjoy writing, he's a linquestic genius (the kid learned Vietnamese, Thai, and Swedish all on his own), and he's quite creative as well, it's gonna be really cool to collaborate with him. We reworked a bunch of the LOTR articles on Uncyclopedia together already.

Right now I'm in my "do as little as possible" phase. I'm usually in it until just over halfway through the semester, then I work non-stop at the end and come through in the clutch. I guess I like the pressure, but I cannot do jack **** early.

Like this speech I still haven't started working on. I've known about it for 3 weeks, and I have 5 days left and I haven't started. Same with my 20 minute presentation for political science: known about it for two months, have one week left and haven't started. Then I'll get extremely stressed and work way too much on it, and get an A.
