I have letter\band\album\songs...formatting of all of those beyond band is shady at best. Too much work. I have to use the letters because I used to crash explorer when opening my music folder with over 1000 sub folders :(

Yeah, I got mine by genre because I used to have the same problem. I have about 15,000 songs all manually renamed. I used to be so crazy I would rename stuff with Of instead of of. Yeah I'm nuts. Recently I found this:
